Benedict said this about a episode: which one? (Heard him wisper it once)

"When bone hit bone"

Ps. This doesn't has to be in a spoiler box, right?

Nope, there's no reason for questions to be in spoiler boxes -- unless they're spoilers somehow.  Often a good idea to put answers in spoiler boxes, though.

Well done!

I don't think I can get too far from that.  :applause:

OK, so I'm an idiot!

But I contend that the answer given for #4 is debatable.  The first thing Sherlock described to John was

the champagne (quote from Ariane DeVere's transcript):

SHERLOCK (French accent): ... this last one on the list is a favourite of mine.  It is – you might, in fact, say – like a face from ze past.
JOHN: Great. I’ll have that one, please.
SHERLOCK (French accent): It is familiar, but, er, with the quality of surprise!

Yes, but John had not seen or looked at Sherlock yet at that moment. :)

Anyway, according to Sherlock, idiot is not an insult. John shouldn't take it that way, so we shouldn't too.

Yes. We are adorable ordinary people to him.

Presumably true (not counting peripheral vision), but John was already aware of him and was talking with him.  Now I'm looking to see how the question's worded: "Sherlock described something the first time John saw him in TEH."  OK, I see what you mean, and if I interpret your question very literally, then you're correct.  But "the first time John saw him" can just as easily mean something more general, along the lines of "the first time John was aware of his presence" (regardless of whether he actually looked right at him or recognized him).  So your question might more explicitly be worded something like, "immediately after John recognized him."

That's the problem with English -- we use the same word to mean so many different things.  For example, suppose you're holding something up so it's clearly visible to me.  If I want to hold it myself in order to examine it more closely, it would be perfectly normal usage for me to hold out my hand and say, "Let me see that" -- even though I can already see it.  (A friend of mine frequently uses the word in that way, even though she's been totally blind from birth.)

Agree. I did ponder about the different ways of interpreting the questions and decided to go ahead with literal meaning.

I really think you should add another point to your answer. :)

I've added a couple more questions to my Middle Name Quiz.  (That seems to be about all that are available, at least for actors who have been in at least two episodes.)
