I suppose I should just jump on in here and say hello! :) I'm Erika (enchantingskies on livejournal), I'm a 22 year old uni student from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I was searching around for a Sherlock forum a while back and was shocked to find that there wasn't one! So I'm glad to have found this place!

 

I've been pretty withdrawn from the whole fandom world since Torchwood CoE. I lurked LJ a lot but nothing could really fill that void. And then I stumbled upon Sherlock, not quite sure how I even first discovered it but I was just drawn in to Sherlock and John and their relationship. There is just no other show out there with the quality of literally everything (writing, acting, cinematography) that this show has.

 

I had only minimal knowledge of Arthur Conan Doyle's stories before, but I've been completely pulled into them as well.

 

Sherlock has pulled me out of my writing slump as well, I've never posted any fanfiction ever, but it'll probably happen. I've got a zillion ideas that I need to throw down. I'm thoroughly back in full fan-girl mode, which is great for my happiness but perhaps not so great for real life. :P

 

Well that's me! I'm excited to talk with you all.

Welcome! It was the lack of Sherlock forum that led us to set this one up, and I'm hoping we'll have a great time here! :)

 

I'm looking forward to your writing ;)

 

PS: Fangirling is good for the soul. That's what matters! :D

Wow Erika, you sound so committed, you put me to shame!! :P Good for you. I always did like Canada, very progressive laws :)
