Nope, neither, just never heard of it until ASiP was rebroadcast! I wish I could remember where I first heard about it, I'd like to thank that person. Profusely. I know right! Aye Europeans... Have mercy on us poor late Americans... We didn't know... They didn't tell us till like 6 years later apparently.

You know I've never been part of a forum for anything... I'm obsessed.

Did you all see this?

Now an older show: Monk Also the Mentalist. Not as fabulous as Sherlock, but definitely the main characters use the science of deduction.

Favorite shows that remind you of Sherlock.

You know...... I don't know.,

I am so grateful they got a bigger budget, and were asked to make 90mins vs 60... Per the quality is far superior to the pilot. I'm glad they made Sherlock more well dressed and aloof. Also was awesome they were able to include Mycroft earlier on.. I liked that John & his buddy met in park vs busy street. I love the change with Sherlock vs the cabby. I love the change to the opening credits of each episode... Ect., ect., ect..

Actually. They didn't include all the special features in DVD series either.

Hello everyone! Been here since April... Began posting in June

Ok never mind. I was reading post out of order. Sad face... I was hoping that Sherlock would take home@ least one trophy. Oh well.

Did Sherlock win any Critics Choice awards?

It's been reported that something shocking is going to happen to Sherlock & John. I hope they don't die & come back to life. Really abit soap opera like. Sherlock has been brought back twice already. The woman was brought back from the dead. & now Moriarty. It's a little ridiculous. But for some reason I still love the show.

I knew @ hello. I turned the channel... It was already about 1/2 way thru Episode 3 of season 1... There was this young pale faced man with stark black hair sitting in front of a microscope. I knew I was in love... & I knew his name was Sherlock. Modern day Sherlock.. Then text messages & thought sequences were being displayed across the scene... I was done for.

I love how you can viseably see Sherlock maturing season after aeaon. Now that I think about it... They do look older each season. I mean they would age wrather badly if that's how they look after just 2 months between series. I should have known. Ever do I see but neglect to observe.

Shock me.. Oh yeah.. As long as they kill off Moriarty. I'm sorry. After season 2 he's so unnecessary.

I hope they have another episode where John beats up Sherlock. I find those episodes so funny.

Yeah. & honestly... This show has a-list actors, brilliant writers & the best cinematography I have ever seen. & I am so grateful they don't use a ton of CGI effects. That cheapens a show to me.

I was re watching Sign of Three a bit ago & noticed 2 mistakes. 1. When Sherlock drops the glass during his toast... The special effects crew forgot to blend out the brown patch on Sherlocks wrist that was meant to catch the sound of the glass leaving his hands. 2. The part where Sherlock & John run after Major Shoto . they didn't take out the back of Mary's dress chasing after John, before cutting back to her sitting down. Whoops edit team.

Well this is definitely a new way of watching a TV series. I really thought they released a new series like every 2 months. Per that's how I got introduced to it via PBS... That stands for Public Broadcast Station over here in the US. I really love this show, so I'll learn to wait.

Yeah. There are Similarities in several episodes. But these two in particular had probably even more than I mentioned.

Something I didn't see until watching HLV for the thousanth time... One of CAM's guards removed the fire place cover for him. Suggesting that he's peed in other folks homes... Sherlocks flat wasn't his first desecration.

7. Often wonder why Lady Smallwood doesn't show mercy towards Sherlock. He freed her as well, and she would have hated CAM. Well, she did hate him, but after the suicide of her husband, she would have taken hate to a new level. But she seems awfully calm in the final meeting, and that meeting can't be too long after the shooting. Seems like she should have been grieving and far more conflicted. I do think she is leaning towards mercy because she finds the "punishment" to be "hardly merciful." Yes. That confused me too @ 1st. But then Lady Smallwood was uncompromising. The suicide of her husband is evident that she didn't give into CAM's demands.
