Moffat's "we've missed it" statement...
sfmpco replied to sfmpco's topic in BBC Sherlock General Discussion.
Okay, this might be really off the wall, but in RDJ's "Sherlock Holmes, Game of Shadows" - Sherlock requests Morarity to sign a book called "The Dynamics of an Asteroid and Lecture Notes" - and of course he is a mathematics professor, and Mummy Holmes was also a maths person having written "The Dynamics of Combustion" - and here's the off the wall part - could she in her brilliance be the one behind the fake Moriarty? -

My stroke was mild by comparison to some. I am right-handed and my right side was affected. I am typing better but not great. It took me 4 days just to be able to follow the cursor on the screen. I can mostly control the mouse now. -

I have not been around for a while because I suffered a mild stroke on Aug 21. My typing is still not so good but getting better. Was in hospital for two days. Will contribute regularly again when fully recovered. -

Some new Holmesian stories - new canon fodder for Mofftiss? Not likely, but it may have some more credence because it comes from one of the Baker Street Babes. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1780925980?refRID=ZPPVGJVVTEB4VNV92CZ7&ref_=pd_rhf_pe_s_cp_49 -
SHERLOCKED: Official "Sherlock" Convention
sfmpco replied to Carol the Dabbler's topic in The News Stand
Well, I haven't jumped on a ticket purchase yet, although I'd consider the gold one. What is interesting is that I don't see anything about vendor booths. If I went, I would bring with me tons of Sherlockian-themed merchandise to sell to eager Sherlock fans. But I might just have to sell it out of my hotel room. I'm sure other fans would bring stuff to sell or trade. -

What about a low-priced Southwest ticket? Also, there are MANY other hotels right next to the Marriott. There's no reason why it should cost $4-5k unless you get the VIP ticket. -

SPOILERS! Series 4 Setlock

He only said that because he can't say any different. As it is, he got his wrists slapped one time for speaking up about an unannounced S4. I thought that S4 incident was kind of unfair to him. Near as I can tell, he meant that he and Freeman had agreed to do S4 (i.e., if it actually came about), but then the press chose to interpret that to mean that the BBC had already commissioned it. And rather than explain the misunderstanding, Moftiss made him apologize for something that he hadn't actually said. Which is interesting because in one of the recent SDCC interview, Moftiss made the comment that apparently Benedict is the one who green-lights a new series, although I suspect they were being flippant. -

I have absolutely no idea. I'm just trying to use logic on this. If it were in LA, that gives everyone a chance to do double duty out here - take meetings with studios, directors, production companies, etc. -

It's unofficially on the books, you mean? To be fair, Moffat's said he'd be surprised if this were the last season. I think it was Ben that really scared people at Comicon; I don't have time to look for the clip, but he's the one who said this "might be the last season". You could hear the crowd faint. :D He only said that because he can't say any different. As it is, he got his wrists slapped one time for speaking up about an unannounced S4.
