  1. You know, I really want to watch The Imitation Game, but it's not in theatres anymore and they haven't released it on DVD yet!
  2. When you apparently can recognise Benedict Cumberbatch by just looking at his forehead.
  3. Bendy, these are not questions that will be answered in the special, I suspect. We'll all have to wait until we get to the real meat of S4. Ah, yes, hiatus...
  4. Yeah, and a lot of my teachers have said that they've had kids of colour in their classrooms who wanted to be called black because they were Jamaican, or Puerto Rican, or from some other country with people of colour that isn't a country in Africa.
  5. Ah, nice. This's a good dose of feels to start me off this morning. But, yeah, the fandom as a whole (and I mean the Sherlockians on Pinterest, Tumblr, Instagram, etc) agrees that Sherlock is a sad and lonely person who tries to impress people using his deduction powers and cleverness. That's why he snaps when he's wrong, when he doesn't have all the answers because he's built this sort of reputation for knowing everything. But he doesn't know everything, and that's why the times when he's wrong are the worst because it's like he let everybody down. You see what happened in TRF when Sherlock was wrong about the whole key code thing? You see what happened in HLV when he was wrong about Appledore? Even when he solves the problem at the end, he's still letting people down, because maybe if he figured out the right answer in the first place then maybe he wouldn't have had to kill himself or kill Magnussen. When Sherlock says he doesn't need friends, I personally think he's really saying that nobody needs him, therefore he needs nobody. Because that's how he grew up -- the odd one out, the perennial black sheep, the freak. Nobody ever told him that he needs him, and by the time Mummy or Daddy or any counselors tried to reverse this thinking, it'd already sunk in. I don't need people; people don't need me. You can't kill an idea, can you? Not once it's made its home... *taps your forehead* there.
  6. Which makes me wonder -- if she's a former trained assassin, why'd she get discharged? And why would she act so much like Moriarty at that one point? But what if she's technically not a former assassin? What if she didn't get discharged, but more driven out, put on the run? Then who is she on the run from? She's got enemies, sure -- she's a killer! But who are they? And why would they still be after her? Who did she kill, and what would justify her enemies avenging her victim's deaths? (I think i'm starting to sound like Anderson.)
  7. I like your idea Bendy, but have to go with Jenny on this. Especially after the headless nun thing during the best man speech. "But moooooooooooooooooooooooom, Mr Holmes is so cooooooooooool!"
  8. Teenage Archie, then. Bring me some teenage Archie, and have a nice little subplot where he solves some small crime, and when the press goes wild over this clever teenage sensation, Sherlock -- after solving a case of his own -- sees Archie on TV . The camera pans towards Archie's face, and he's smiling and waving. Then an interviewer asks, "What inspired you to take up this case?" and Archie looks straight at the camera and says, "Mr Sherlock Holmes."
  9. They should bring Archie back. I love the whole "kid-looking-up-to-weird-person-everyone-doesn't-like" thing that he has with Sherlock.
  10. Brainy has always been sexy!
  11. Whaaaaa .....?????? Oh lord, do I even want to know? Here's a really nice example... Can't find any other good ones, though. I'm a little scared of digging into Tumblr because we all know where all that leads to.
  12. Moriarty. Just vote for him, please. Moriarty.
  13. When you cosplay as Sherlock and use the outside camera of your phone instead of the inside one to get a nicer picture of you! :D
  14. ...when you consider joining the Unicorn!lock bandwagon...
  15. And I used to think of this at the mention of "CAM"!
  16. But -- but -- but what about Moriarty?
  17. Grownups 2 Meat wrapped in bacon
  18. "Mom. Mom, no. Stop it, Mom. My ears are already clean, Mom. Moooom!"
  19. Just had this thought: Since you are technically a female Bendy, wouldn't it be Supreme Overlady of the Moriarty Fan Club? No, of course not. "Supreme Overlord" is gender neutral.
