  1. I see why you'd think that, but consider this: It usually takes time for somebody to become that sort of person. You remember the murder of Carl Powers? That was ingenious -- putting the clostridium botulinum into Carl's meds, that was brilliant. That sort of genius at that young of an age, it's rare. Moriarty could've gone on the fast track to success. So something might have thrown him off-course, some big event that collided with his life and drove him to become the psychopath we all know. Perhaps the death of Moriarty's hypothetical loved one ignited Carl's bullying (such cruelty can definitely be learned at a young age), thus sparking Moriarty's want for vengeance, and then setting him on the path to perdition. (But I'd rather avoid the conjunction fallacy and treat all these separate speculations as separate. Let's assume they're separate until further confirmation in S4)
  2. "Carl laughed at me, so I stopped him, laughing."
  3. A general rule of trilogies/three-part things is is that the middle one always suffers the most -- Catching Fire of The Hunger Games, Insurgent of Divergent, Toy Story 2, Temple of Doom from Indiana Jones, Back to the Future Part II, etc. I really don't think it's a gay agenda. I think Mr. Moffat and Mr. Gatiss have an angst agenda, because, you know, they're Moftiss. :P ^This is where your favourite characters all go to die.
  4. (Dunno if there's a thread for this already. If there is, it's dead and buried somewhere on this forum, and I guess I'm resurrecting it. :P)) I think I'll just jump right in. Intros were never really my thing, actually... We don't really know much about Moriarty's past. But I figure we can at least garner some possibilities as to his life pre-Sherlock timeline, right? Because in TGG, during the pool scene, Sherlock says "People have died," to which Moriarty responds, "That's what people DO!" And maybe Moriarty was only trying to be intimidating, but maybe Sherlock inadvertently touched on a pressure point -- the death of somebody close to Moriarty. Any ideas?
  5. You can anagram "Holmes and Watson" to "Womanless and Hot"
  6. Bringin' back this thread because of this song. You could be happy, I hope you are You made me happier than I've been, by far...
  7. When you finally make it onto this site after a week of wifi trouble and schoolwork and being in that kind of mood* and feel relieved because there is a place that exists in the world where you don't have to look at people and people will take you seriously despite your age. *you know, that mood where just looking at people/being looked at pisses you off
  8. Well, I'm a Capricorn, in case you guys're wondering. Like Sherlock. (Funny thing is, my best friend is a Cancer, like John! And some people think we're lesbians.)
  9. Some say Sherlock's 'bout as straight as his hair!
  10. I think my next school shenanigan will be creating a giant fist, middle finger extended, out of reed and paper, because my art teacher says I shouldn't draw animals so much and draw other things. Only thing is, I can't draw people very well, and drawing inanimate objects always bores me, so animals are my default art subjects. Thus, giant middle finger. <_<
  11. Which is, unfortunately, the kind of phone I currently possess as of Christmas. ;(
  12. Well, unfortunately for you, I've read a theory claiming Molly to be Moran. It's actually a perfect arrangement, really, because she is close to Sherlock -- an enemy hiding in plain sight -- so she knows him better than most, sees through all those layers and masks he puts on to protect himself. The reason why Moriarty dated her briefly was to check up on her and Sherlock, and get a read on how close she is to Sherlock. Since she and Moriarty are working together, no snipers were put on her in TRF. Molly's gotten bolder over the course of S3, because she's getting ready now. Ready for what? The big reveal. You think she's a just a nice girl, a kindhearted mousy little thing? No. She's just been waiting to get Sherlock's head on a silver platter. And, my God -- you see the mess of his own life Sherlock's made, exposing Mary and going to war with Magnussen? He'll be wide open for explotation. Sweet dreams, Toby.
  13. I'm not getting any quote notifications at all. And I don't use the email notifications because they don't filter through to my social tab in Gmail and I have no clue how to filter stuff. :/ Also, thanks for implementing my : / emote! :D I feel honoured.
  14. You know your Sherlock obsession is bad when you brave the horrors that is using the monile version of this site just to let the people here that you're still alive
  15. Look! Looooook! It happened! It happened! Mycroft and Lestrade finally met! And they were in the same room too!! *sound of Mystrade shippers cheering in the distance*
  16. I see those around where I live, although not recently because lately it's all been below zero. Lots of cardinals too; I don't know how they camouflage so easily, they're all bright red!
  17. For me, it started about a few days ago -- four, maybe five. Or maybe longer, too -- some threads I don't go back to all that often.
  18. Don't worry! I'll still be active, just maybe not as much, okay? All's well. Also, my notifications thingy on here is a bit wonky. Won't tell me if someone quotes my post.
  19. I probably won't be on the forum as often because I accidentally got hooked on Instagram since I'm gonna go back into playing video games. If only my ancient PS2 would cooperate... :(
  20. You know your obsession is bad when you're thinking about the show and then you get suddenly absolutely terrified that the main character may be suicidal.
  21. Oh, and don't forget how John threw him onto the floor and beat the snot out of him at a bunch of different restaurants and how it must've been agony being whacked by your best friend just after you've taken some real hard torture in Serbia.
