  1. Every other text from my dad looks like this.
  2. He's 8. Will be 9 in 4 months.
  3. It's been a bad day. Nothing's gone right, but mainly, it's my dog Cooper. ^ This illness, which turned out to be leaky gut, is finally taking a turn for the worse. The severity of it has fluctuated in cycles, usually flaring in the fall and clearing up somewhat in the spring. But he's never been this bad before. Last night he was whimpering all night because of how uncomfortable he was. He doesn't want to move or eat. He has runny, uncontrollable diarrhea. He's pretty miserable. There's no cure for his illness, the symptoms can only be alleviated with medication. But eventually the medication stops helping (if it doesn't lead to kidney failure first), and that seems to be what's happening now. The vet gave him another med that should improve his condition in the short-term, but it runs out in a week. If it doesn't help, or if it does but his illness cycles around again later with this severity, he will probably have to be put down.
  4. Mine are more silvery-white and shiny too, rather than flat gray. I still call it gray, I don't know if there's a significant distinction. "Can't" basically means they wash me out or don't look well against my skin. Nope, that is a widespread myth.
  5. Good advice! Generally I do, but I'm a bit fashion-blind and sometimes I pick things that raise eyebrows. Normally I wouldn't care, but this is something I'll be wearing to work where very formal and professional dress is expected of me, and I just want it to look nice.
  6. I can't wear black. I also can't wear any color that's too dark, like dark evergreen or dark navy. They overwhelm me. Navy is generally a nice color on me, I've been told; it just can't be too dark. I can't wear pure, stark white. I can't wear any pastels, regardless of color. I can't wear royal blue. I can't wear gold (the color, not the metal), dark golden yellow, or mustard. I can't wear fuchsia. I can't wear mint, generally. A few specific shades are okay. While neither is my best color, army green and olive are wearable as long as they lean more towards a dull/muted green than a yellow/brown. Same with lime, greener limes are better than yellowy limes. Light heather gray looks nice on me, medium heather gray does not. Some other colors I think look nice on me, besides navy, are varying shades of teal/turquoise/aqua (as long as they are not too bright), maroon, and certain shades of green. There's a particular green that I really like on me a lot, but I don't know the name of it. I think it might be a kind of Kelly green. Besides the above, I've been complimented in both cool and warm shades of darker purples. I get mixed reviews on red; everyone likes it on me, but some people tell me to go with deeper reds, some people say the opposite. Coral is another; some people love it on me, others say it's too bright. Once I wore a dress approximately this color of yellow, which I personally was indifferent to, but I got lots of compliments on it: I also had a pair of denim jeans that were close to this color, and I got compliments every time I wore them: I had the same style in two other colors and was never complimented in them, so I don't think it was just how they fit me. I don't know if that helps anything. That's about all I know... if I remember anything else I'll add to this.
  7. That’s the problem, I don’t. I really can’t tell. I mean, I know some of the colors I can’t wear, like I said above, but I have no idea what actually looks good on me. And other people are no help, lol. Sometimes someone will tell me that what I’m wearing is a bad color for me, and in the same day I’ll get a compliment on how good it looks. I’ve been called a winter, spring, summer, and fall by different people. I can’t get any clarity, lol. I have heard of the book, and I think I even read it a long time ago. I could take another look. My dad was a towhead too. In some pictures from when I was very young, my hair appeared close to that color. But in most, it appeared light brown. So I’m not actually sure whether I have hair that’s truly brown, or a dark variation of blonde.
  8. Speaking of hair, I'm growing rapidly more gray along the hairline near my eyebrows. Basically I'm going to look like the mother in "Poltergeist" pretty soon.
