  1. Here's a link to a new Martin Freeman interview: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/art/features/dont-turn-on-the-people-that-i-love-a-stern-martin-freeman-reveals-he-is-more-bilbo-baggins-than-tim-from-the-office-8687472.html .
  2. Here's a link to a Radio Times interview with Una Stubbs that suggests that even Benedict Cumberbatch doesn't know how Sherlock survived in this episode: http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2013-07-08/una-stubbs-im-not-sure-benedict-cumberbatch-knows-how-sherlock-comes-back
  3. Amazon.com in the U.S. just dropped the price for preordering Star Trek Into Darkness to $14.96: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-Into-Darkness-Chris/dp/B00AZMFJYA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3B9Z6RAJ8CNAV&coliid=I1CGTIGX7HA58D . Their price guarantee means that it won't go higher than that when it is released, although it could go down. I couldn't pass that up and ordered two (one for us and one for a gift) to get free shipping. Hopefully it will have some good Special Features, like the first J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie had.
  4. The video of Smaug at the end of the trailer looks great. He moves like a certain fictional detective!
  5. Empire Magazine's August edition has a Desolation of Smaug cover http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=37895 and article
  6. Carol and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and can't wait to get it on DVD, although we're waiting to see what special features are on the DVD before we preorder it from Amazon. Cumberbatch was brilliant again!
  7. Here is a good article on Amanda. I really look forward to seeing her in Series 3, presumably .
  8. Thanks for welcoming me. Even though I am American, my father was born and raised in Liverpool and I still have relatives in the UK, many of which Carol and I will visit in May. I really would love to see some Sherlock The Sign of Three filming while we're in London. Visiting Series 1 & 2 filming locations and lunch at Speedy's would be nice, too.
  9. I am a huge fan of the show Sherlock, and reside with my wife Carol the Dabbler in Indiana, USA. I'm really looking forward to Series 3 and have been following a lot of the content on the Radio Times Sherlock Series 3 Diary Page. Carol and I will be visiting the UK in May and hope we can see some of the filming in London. We were in London two years ago and visited 187 North Gower Street, but there was no Sherlock filming going on in London at that time (although Series 2 was being filmed elsewhere then). I really enjoyed Martin Freeman's portrayal of Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and I'm also looking forward to seeing Benedict Cumberbatch's John Harrison villain in Star Trek Into Darkness.
