Anderson thinks Sherlock faked it USING A BLOODY TARDIS.

 

Which might just make more sense than the "real" explanation...

 

I wonder whether any dedicated fan has made a detailed analysis of Anderson's wall. I bet there's tons of fun stuff on there and not just random bits of paper.

 

I like Anderson's wall. I think my mind palace, if I had one, would look something like that.

• A zillion articles with colored highlighted bits
• Red strings connecting everything somehow
• A zillion multicolored tacks to keep all the stuff on the wall
• One TARDIS drawing
• One sketch of a human(?) heart
• A few newspaper clippings
• Some pictures of city skylines
• A photo of St. Bart's
• Sticky notes

That's about it, I think.

Well there are those who swear that the Tardis is lurking in the background at Dewer's Hollow in the HOB

 

 

    

 

  And there were even some Tweets asking why the Tardis was showing up in a Sherlock Episode.

Are they talking about the rectangular shape at the top of the slope?  Could be a Porta-Potty or even a large trash can.  Does anyone have a full-resolution screen capture of that frame?

 

Sounds silly on the face of it -- but then again, I sure wouldn't put it past Moftiss.

There also seems to be a doodle of a TARDIS on Anderson's wall. The one that mimics Sherlock's wall with the papers and pins and red string.

Man, I'm even dimmer than ever today. That doesn't look like a TARDIS to me!

Whatever it is, it's been shot from an awkward angle that would make it look squattier than it actually is.  Kinda looks like it has two projections coming out of the top at an angle, like an insect's antennae, though those (especially the left one) could be just branches of nearby trees.  But it definitely does NOT have a projection on the top center like the light on the Doctor's TARDIS.

1. Who is the person standing or walking at the bottom, fairly near the right-hand side?

 

2. Who is the person sitting on a rock near the upper-left corner?

 

3. Why is there an enormous Hobbit hole on the left?

This "Hollow" is actually called "The Three Bears Cave" and that "Hobbit Hole" is supposed to be where Dr. Frankland emerged from when Sherlock was keeping Henry from shooting himself.

 

Well! I tell you what. If we are goofballs then we are in great good company because there are a whole lot of people who believe the same thing. Goofballs of the World Unite!!!!!

Seriously, I take it this thing is being called a "Hounds" screencap all over the internet.  If that's not what it is, then Arcadia pray tell, what is it actually -- just a random photo of that location?  It's very hi-def, so could easily be a screen cap from something.

 

And what is that thing up there?  (I still vote for Porta-Potty.)

Okay, I take it all back, somehow I missed this scene when I ran thru Hound previously. It's at the very beginning, it IS Henry Knight, I have no explanation for the figure on the rock, the boxy shape is still there. I have since consumed 3 humble pies and hope this is recompense enough to satisfy all of thee? I have an extra pound of flesh as a result, you can have that too if you wish.

 

Merlin filmed there too, maybe it's one of his little friends? Or an Entling.

The upper left person looks like someone in an old scuba diving outfit at least for the upper half.

I loved Merlin! Unfortunately I missed more and more episodes as it went along cuz I never knew when it was on, and stuff. Didn't see the last season at all, I think.
