How about you give "The Fifth Estate" a try? That film has been rather unfairly maligned, if you ask me. I liked it a lot! (And come on, I am in no way a patriotic person, but Daniel Brühl is one of the few international actors my country has produced whom I am in any way "proud of", so I'll take this chance to advertize him, too). And I'm wondering if you might also like "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy". It's not exactly a detective story but it's spies, so kind of. Altho BC's part is rather small. Oh, and "Hawking" -- it's basically a biography, and it's terrific. Uplifting, even. Not at all what I expected. You could also try "Van Gogh", which is a documentary, but in story form. It's not a slick movie-type production, but it's good. I may like Van Gogh!

Welcome Bralb & SherlockCAMPer: Happy posting!!! -
Okay so, I guess that leaves room for 3 more on that date. I would love for you to join me TOBY. I am leaning toward HOB, since well I've probably been quite debaucherous with SIB lately.
-
So I just put in for live chat sign up, posted as follows: Okay, Carol: I'd like to plan one October 4, Saturday from 12p - 4p US eastern Standard time. To watch and discuss either HOB or SIB. Guess whoever would like to join me could let me know what they'd prefer.

Exactly why this thread came to mind. I really was like man whe have a lot of questions about what we dont understand, wanted to see what we loved. -
Yeah, if Sherlock is truly MI6, which is what Jenny hopes will be revealed in Season 4. Well based off her previous comment, it seems she's confident they will make it plain that he either is or isn't.

Oh gosh! I keep looking at it!!! It's just so CREEPY! Best Magnussen shot ever! I could just picture the emotional reaction of both Carol & Arcadia. Priceless..... Just brilliant Bendy. Brilliant.

That really did make me laugh way out loud!!!
-
Thanks for that Bendy! I promise everyone, I didn't put her up to that!

Heee-ah-lair-ree-uhs!!! -
Ha ha! Now I think I actually see a total of 3 men! good eye Bendy. There's a male of perhaps Pacific Island or Asian descent right next to him & the top of some poor guys head way in the back to the right.

For the UK's domestic intelligence agency, see MI5. For other uses, see MI-6 (disambiguation). The Secret Intelligence Service (SIS), commonly known as MI6 (Military Intelligence, Section 6), is the British intelligence agency which supplies the British Government with foreign intelligence.

Hmmm. I missed the deerstalkers. If Sherlock was somehow up for an Oscar I would watch, but to be honest I haven't really seen Benedict in anything else. Not into cartoons, Victorian or period pieces. Certainly not into fantasy, wizardry or action movies. I'm soooooooo boring. I like stories. Just good ole fashioned stories, maybe ones that seem like an autobiography. I also like documentaries, romantic comedies & classic movies. I like some Black/African American classics ( I really don't know what to call myself anymore), some are really horribly done, but they tend to be more sentimental. And of course I just love detective stories.

I think he's a Consulting MI6. I wouldn't mind if he were. I just don't think that he is. I'm about 80% with you. I'm quite sure Mycroft could order him. Mycroft is the British Government. I would hate to see what the result would be if Sherlock didn't comply to his brothers commands. Which makes me wonder if that's why Sherlock always concedes to Mycroft's requests. Like the whole memory stick/ Wesley case, he followed the John the entire time, to see if he was on the right track.

What's funny is the dogs response. This must be a daily occurrence. He just pretty much sits there while getting pounced on and cleaned.
