  1. I just love the whole shooting-Magnussen scene and everything before and after. It's all -- how do you say it? Gritty. Emotional. And very, very lucid. I love how everything goes silent when Sherlock sinks to his knees, and then Mycroft whispers, "Oh, Sherlock... what have you done?" It reminds me of how when something intense happens to you, everything after seems pastel and fragile. If anyone's curious, this's the untranslatable word for what I feel:
  2. Y'know, I'm that kind of person that likes bits of this and that from lots of artists (for me, just rock and rock variants). I like some Rise Against, some All-American Rejects, some Coldplay, Thousand Foot Krutch, and a few others I forget right now.
  3. Chocolate milk used to be sold as medicine!
  4. I think what really pulled my heartstrings was when Sherlock reached for the gun. You can see John just move his arm away, no questions, no complaints -- he completely trusts that Sherlock will do the right thing, even if Sherlock does a bad thing to that end.
  5. Imagination
  6. *buddist voice* Nah, man, you just gotta do a little of this 'n' that -- the middle path 'n' stuff.
  7. We're talking fratricide, yes. Perhaps Sherlock knew Magnussen was his bro, perhaps not.
  8. Aren't there siblings who look really different, hair color and all? (There's also a rare, very very rare occurance where siblings have different skin colors even though they come from the same parents.)
  9. And the reason why Magnussen knows about Redbeard is because he was there when Redbeard got put down and little Sherlock had a breakdown right there in the vet's office.
  10. The credits roll by, but then when they're all done, you see a scene with Sherlock and John crawling out of a pile of rubble, covered in dust but relatively unscathed.
  11. A Clockwork Orange Deer
  12. Finally found the word for when you know you know something, and it's on the tip of your tongue, but the word won't come to mind -- From Wikipedia:
  13. At least your voice isn't screwed up by puberty! Even though I'm a girl, I can't hit that many high notes and my voice sounds boyish!
  14. Lucky you! Mr. Cumberbatch's pretty much three times my age!
  15. Just rewatched part of this episode, and I noticed something. When Sherlock reads the telegram from "Cam", Mary looks uneasy. And the telegram is really mushy to the point of disgust (next bit's from Ariane DeVere) -- I think this was a warning, a very subtle warning but a warning nonetheless. Just a little hint at the enormity of HLV. And John notices but Mary dismisses it, indicating that she understands the telegram.
  16. I'd probably just follow him like a puppy the way John did with Major Sholto!
  17. Well, if a set of identical twins pair off and have kids with another set of identical twins, the two sets' kids are, genetically speaking, siblings.
  18. *whispers* Debilitate Lestrade to the point where he asks to be put down.
  19. Here, I'll draw it out, then. The kids are listed by order of age, and the theorised third siblings are in orange. My theory is that Sherlock and Moriarty are twins, because they're so alike and are supposedly the same age: Mummy Holmes ---------- Daddy Holmes | Mycroft Sherlock and Moriarty? But some people think it's Enola (from a book series spinoff of Sherlock Holmes) or Sherrinford (unconfirmed). Mummy Holmes ---------- Daddy Holmes | Sherrinford? Mycroft Sherlock Enola? Others think that dear old Daddy Holmes had an affair and that Sherlock and Moriarty were born on the same day, or close to the same day: Mummy Holmes ---------- Daddy Holmes ------------ ??? | | Mycroft Moriarty Sherlock
