Hmmm, well we always say that the sicker a patient is the longer we spend on the scene stabilising them. Once the patient is in the ambulance then we spend at least another half hour on scene taking blood pressure, doing a 12 lead EGC and generally making sure they are fit to travel, so as a general rule yes, John may have very possibly been able to get there before they left. With regard to the phone call, yes as para's we do make phone calls. However, if the police are in attendance (which, let's face it, at a shooting they would be) then they would do it instead. So yes we do make phone calls, but we wouldn't have done in that particular situation. I will have to rewatch HLV as I don't remember Sherlock's relapse.

My all time favourite author...William Shakespeare. I love to read, I never go anywhere without my kindle and I always go back to reading Shakespeare. Also love Thomas Hardy and E.M. Forster. Recently read a book called A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I absolutely adored this film! It was so moving and a good giggle in places. I was in tears at the end as well. It was a truly lovely way to tell a fantastic story and I can't wait to own it on DVD. And of course I loved Andrew Scott in it. His character just grabbed my heart! It's a truly poingnant film and I would highly recommend it! I loved it!
