  1. I didn't notice this poster of Culverton Smith when I watched.
  2. Uh oh, Speedy's is in big trouble if there is water that deep upstairs! I'm glad I ate there a couple of times last June.
  3. He may be thinking that the Watson baby sure looks like a doll!
  4. 5. Radio Times has taken those quotes and added a lot of conjecture. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2016-10-03/sherlock-series-4-feels-like-the-end-of-an-era-says-benedict-cumberbatch
  6. https://twitter.com/BBCOne/status/780092985501507584 Did you guys see that the title of the first episode is one of the cases written up on John's blog? (There, hope that's non-spoilery enough to warrant no spoiler tags.) http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2016-09-26/is-the-plot-for-this-sherlock-series-4-episode-already-online

  12. Radio Times is suggesting that Mary is leaving Sherlock, so some of bad stuff that happens in S4 may involve her :o: http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2016-07-27/did-amanda-abbington-just-reveal-that-mary-is-leaving-sherlock
  13. That's 1 pm EDT, or 17:00 GMT. Added: What about Mycroft?! If you have a question for them, use this link: https://twitter.com/hashtag/AskSherlock?src=hash
  14. Doesn't that look like a wedding ring? I suspect that she and MF are actually married now. The note toward the top in this picture also is interesting. I wonder if MF wrote that.
  15. Yes, now we only have another 5+ months to wait to see the results!
  16. In case anyone didn't know, Benedict and Sophie were at Wimbledon yesterday cheering on Andy Murray: http://metro.co.uk/2016/07/11/benedict-cumberbatch-and-his-sherlock-hair-bless-the-wimbledon-2016-final-5999070/
  17. I wonder how many stayed anyhow. Ruther tweeted a photo of about 4,5 of them all under umbrellas! I was considering going to the South Bank looking for where the filming was, but I'm glad I saw Sue's Twitter post before I seriously considered going - it would have been a waste of time. I apparently missed filming of scenes with Martin earlier in the day, but I didn't know about those in advance. I still feel lucky about what I saw Sunday night at North Gower Street and Monday night at Gordon Square a mile or so from my hotel.
  18. Yes, Moftiss appear to be trying to shock everyone again and making our hero suffer greatly in S4.
  19. As I overheard Mark Gatiss telling a fan on Sunday night, "IT'S NEVER TWINS"!
  20. As I overheard Mark Gatiss saying to a fan Sunday night, "it's never twins"! :D
  21. Well, technically, yes, it was apparently only two "in the rain," BC and the WiR. But other scenes included MF, US, and possibly AA (if "around the corner" counts). Plus scores dozens a handful of extras. P.S.: Has anyone seen a crowd estimate? (Or made a crowd estimate?) My guess would be about 500.
  22. Well, I was wrong about Sherlock not being filmed at Gordon Square because they are there filming right now and I observed Sherlock sitting in a bus stop chatting with the woman in red and walking out to see a drone fly by and land across the street from him. This was far from me, but I got a few pictures, including this one with Sherlock and the woman in red sitting in the bus stop by the church. I suspect better pictures will appear on Twitter #setlock. :D
  23. No, it was to film *three* actors walking in the rain. ;) Apparently. 'Course, they did film some other scenes as well, such as the extras reacting to the explosion (or whatever). But yeah, it does seem odd, considering that it was supposed to be for all three episodes. Sometimes it's hard to tell when they're filming, though, from that distance and with the whole crew milling about in between. Three years ago, Alex and I were there when they filmed four scenes, but didn't notice two of them till we watched the show. But still .... yeah. Yeah, it seemed like such little filming if they plan to cover "Baker Street" exterior scenes for all three Series 4 episodes. My guess is that the scene with BC and the woman in red was for episode 2 because he still has his scruffy beard, the Martin Freeman and Una Stubbs scene was for episode 1 or 3, and the scene with the extras fleeing the "explosion" was for the episode that the MF/US scene wasn't for, unless I've missed something else they filmed (which as Carol indicated from our 2013 Setlock experience is not too hard to do if you have some obstruction in the way). I must admit that I only really noticed them filming the scene with the "explosion" and extras and the scene with BC and the woman in red. They are very efficient and fast at filming multiple takes of a scene when they have everything set up and since me and Greg were a few rows from the barricades, there were several people blocking our view at times. Yes, some nice photos from the Daily Mail article, but I agree completely with Carol that the "content" of the article is, as they say here, complete rubbish, There were a few brief showers during the day, but really none during the late filming with the main actors present and all of the "rain" that got BC wet came solely from the "rain" sprayers. As I said earlier, we saw scenes 1 & 2, but missed scene 3 (Ruther and the fan with the video must have had an unobstructed view from just behind the barricades). :(
