Oh, great, now I have the Mission Impossible theme stuck in my head ..... (Bump bump bumpbum, bump bump bumpbum.... )

 

 

I believe Moffat is quoted somewhere saying he borrowed a few elements of Skyfall for TEH, and that's quite evident.

:o Really? Let's try to guess which ones :D

1. Sherlock standing on the roof of St. Bart.

Rats, I can't play, never seen Skyfall. I wait to be enlightened.....

Trying to remember the Mission Impossible theme, I had the Dragnet theme (and every other show from the 60's & 70's) go through my head even though I should know it.

 

I've watched Skyfall several times as well as TEH and I still can't recall most of the parallel scenes except for the "London skyline" shot from Cardiff.
