Yes, that's correct.  We are specifically interested in the BBC television program Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, but we also discuss the original Conan Doyle stories and other adaptations such as the Rathbone movies and the Brett television series.

Judging by your screen name, you may already be familiar with one of Martin Freeman's other roles, that of Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson's Hobbit films.  And though it may not be obvious, Benedict Cumberbatch has a role in those films as well, as Smaug the dragon (via voice recording and motion-capture filming).

This is, as far as I can see, a virtual round table where we talk, discuss, agree, disagree, chat, joke, ramble, wonder and marvel at all sorts of things, centered around but not limited to, our favorite television series and the books and other adaptations it is based on. If there are any rules, then nobody has ever explained them to me, and I was too lazy to find out for myself.

 

Welcome! You can either plunge right into the madness, or linger on the edges observing the fray, or turn away in disgust at a bunch of people wasting their time on such trivial matters. Whatever suits you best.

Sometimes we have very serious and in depth discussions.  It takes a whole village of Sherlockians to interpret a Mofftiss script, and even then we're still not entirely sure.... LOL
