So that was the punctuation issue. And I fell right into the "trap"! Typical :)

Here's another one: "Dear Lord". How did you solve that so quickly? :) He does have some great lines, now I come to think of it.

Anyway, your go.

I worked out the first bit was (possibly) "he could be the" and I guessed the last word was "ever". So then I got it :-)

"_ _ / _ _ _ _ / _ / _ _ _ _ ?"

"_ _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _."

Excuse me, but isn't that:

JOHN: A severed head!
SHERLOCK: Just tea for me, thanks.

I always heard it as 'Is that a head'... will have to check my DVD... *goes to check*.

You are right, Carol: "A severed head!" "Just tea for me, thanks" "No, there's a head in the fridge"...

That gave me the opportunity to check what Sherlock says after "Where else was I supposed to put it" - I never could make that out. "You don't mind, do you?" Kind of sweet, really, the way he asks.

I just checked because I had to hear it for myself, and the first three times I heard "is that a head?" I was determined to hear it as "a severed head" (which makes Sherlock's reply make more sense) and the 4th time that's what I heard. You wouldn't have thought they sounded so similar, but they obviously do! So thanks for clarifying that bit for me Carol! :-)

Well, obviously I lost that round. Although technically I did solve it :) Sorry; love quoting Sherlock.

Let's try this one:

_ _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . / _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ ?

Ha! Yes, sorry that was a bit confusing. It's like an optical illusion where you can see a young girl or an old woman depending on how you look at it; I keep listening to it, and sometimes I hear "is that a head?" and sometimes I hear "a severed head"!

Going to look at this one for a bit and see if I can finally solve one without any letters!  :sherlock:

I know; I had to listen several times before I could get myself to hear it as 'severed head', having not even considered that before.

You go ahead and think :) Hope you solve it! If at some point you'd like it, I could PM a hint.

Yay!!! Thanks :-D

Let's see if you can do the same ;-)

_ / _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ , / _ _ _ / _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ _ .
