    Thanks -- now lemme see what happens in the BBCode when I try that: Well, I just copy-paste it. I thought that it would come without a text background when I pasted it. OK, toggle into plain vanilla mode -- nope, nothing extra there. That is really odd. Pardon my persistence, but I want to make sure I know exactly what's happening. Is this what you're doing: Highlight the line you want, hit Ctrl-C, go to your new post, hit Ctrl-V? And nothing else? Yep! That's exactly what I do. I would like the allmighty E, please.
