  1. Tea, coffee very rarely, only mixed with milk (cappuccino). Sunrise and sunset are both very beautiful even if so different: sunrise is the start of a new day, it brings hope and peace, I think. Sunset is the end of the day and it always makes me a bit melanchonic. Night owl. I love the night. Cats, dogs are too...messy At least 8 hours, if I sleep less than 8 hours I'm like a zombie (to be honest, if I sleep 3-4 hours, the day after I'm like.....wacky )
  2. What a pity!! Oh I'm sure that, when I'll finally end university and I'll go living in an apartment all for me, I'll have a cat. Or maybe two cats. And a dog. And an hamster. And a rabbit. And a snake, a huuuuge snake. Ok, I think I'm a bit exagerating. But I feel as I have to recover lost chances. Ok,no.
  3. Aw, this is a lovely topic! I've read a lot of sagas, so I'm going to talk about them as they were a single book, beacuseI usually love all the books of a saga. Percy Jackson and the gods of Olympus- and the heroes of Holympus The writer imagines a world where Gods of Olympus really exist, as all mythologic creatures. God can have sons and daughters also with human people, so we have a lot of demigods. This guys have to face a lot of difficulties beacuse monsters try to kill them and a war is approaching..... I think that's the best of all the fantasy stories. The books are so catching that when I start reading, I can't stop. The style of writing is perfect: not too hard to read, not too complicated but also not too simple. Perfect. The plot is amazing. Shadowhunters Another fantasy saga, this time involving vampires, werewolves, fairies, warlocks, demons and shadowhunters, who are in part angels, in part humans and have the duty to protect humans from demons. But an evil shadowhunter tries to destroy the world and somebody has to stop him.... The plot is very interesting. There are a lot of complicated love stories that interested me very much. Sometimes the story is a bit slow and it happens that some chapters are a bit useless for the plot, but it's very interesting anyway. Harry Potter Everybody knows it and there's nothing to add ;)
  4. One day I nearly decided to watch it, but I read the plot and I find it a bit sad. I can't watch sad films, I start crying as a stupid girl and then I get depressed (I know, I've got a biiiiig problem). That's why I never managed to watch Titanic. Too sad, I think I can't handle that.
  5. When I was a child, I think I was both: shy and introvert. Now I think I can assume that I am introvert with everyone- even with my friends, and shy only in some situations. For exemple, there are people who make me become shy, such as very girls (I don't know why), my parent's collegues..... But at parties, for exemple, I like going around and making friends with everyone, even if I still remain an introvert person. I don't like talking too much about myself, but I like meeting people, even if the perspective of a party where I don't know anyobody makes me always a bit nervous. I think that's what makes me introvert but not shy (not so much, at least).
  6. I remember that a friend of mine introduced me to the series. I loved it so much that, since then, I sterted watching and rewatching the episodes, reading all Conan Doyle's books and now I'm a fan of all the films/tv series that talk about investigation and mysteries (such as "Law and order", "Rizzoli and Isles" and so on). I started observing people a bit more carefully, trying to understand them, as Sherlock does. It may seem stupid, but the charachter of Sherlock helped me to open a bit more to the world, to start thinking and reasoning in a more precise way. For exemple, I find the tecnique of the mind palace so useful (difficult to useof course, but so useful). Then, the frienship between Sherlock and John always reminds me that very different people could become close friends, could face difficulties together. Finally, I'm writing in this forum, "talking" with people from all over the world, as Arcadia was saying. I think that's very beautiful
  7. stickers
  8. Buddhist monk
  9. I've never had a pet! That's a problem
  10. Just watched the film. I admit I was a bit disappointed, I wished Martin could have more scenes.....but, as always, he was great. Also the character was perfect for him. About the film, I liked it, even if I really can't understand how Captain America's shield could be still intact after being put on a bomb, launched around, pushed against walls and so on. So interesting.
  11. Never heard about it! Who's the author?
  12. I always try to go out with the fewer things as possible: cellphone, wallet, keys. But it always ends with me carrying aroud an enourmous Mary Popping's bag . I fell more confortable if I have with me painkillers for my headaches, a book if I have to spend some time waiting somewhere and my wallet is full of every card I have, from the cinema card, to the library card. I know, if I lose my wallet it will be a very big big problem but I have more chances to lose my cards at home, with my brother and my parents that are capable making everything disappear magically.
  13. Definitely, it's nearly scary ahaha! But maybe.....with Eatson's face..... Anyway, welcome here, CumberBunny! Don't worry, we're all made here and soon you too will become mad, I'm sure, yayyyy! It's so beautiful being mad!
  14. I've just watched the official trailer of season 4. I admit I'm quite confused. Ehm....I'm REALLY confused. The only thing that was clear for me, it's that something really bad is going to happen. And that I don't like Sherlock with beard. There was a lot of fire and shooting, aand....also Mycroft seems a bit confused. If Mycroft is confused we are lost. I'm so confused confused confused confused. Oh my.
  15. I've heard about it but never watched any episode, maybe I'll start watching some
  16. Yes, I agree with you! Even if they are cartoons, I think they are more for adults than for children, beacuse they deal with deep themes, such as friendship, the 'war' between man and nature, individual growth and so on. Not yet! Do you think it's beautiful? I'll watch it!
  17. Yes! Very large groups, as you were saying! And no, anyone with V sign, but a lot of people making photos with duck face! I really don't understand them :/ The thing that made me laugh and nervous at the same time was that everyone wanted to make a photo in front of the leaning tower like if they were holding it to not make it fall. EVERYONE! Guys, a little bit more of creativity.... Chinese tourists (and japanese, of course) will invade all the world! But, just an hypotesis...if Chinese and Japanese people are all aroud the world....who's there in China and in Japan?
  18. About nerd shops, unfortunately not so many, there are videogames and comics shops, that sometimes also sell funko pops, but, I don't now why, every tipe of doll except for Sherlock I think I'll ask as a gift! Thankyou for your idea!
  19. I've been in Pisa (Italy) for two days, there were sooooo many tourists!! I though :"Hey, everyone in Pisa TODAY?". I think I have to give up going anywere without being pushed a way and one other by thousands of tourists (chinese tourists, I would say, is there anyone from China?). Then I came home saying to myself:"Oh, finally some peace". Obviously, my parents and my brother, as soon as I arrived: "Tell us where you have been, what you have done, what you have visited, what you have eaten!!". Please, I need someone to help me
  20. They are so beautiful! I'd love to buy the Sherlock's one! But I'm....ehm....to lazy to buy them on the net
  21. I've just finished watching "Princess Mononoke", I liked it very much! The story is a bit sad, but it made me reflect a lot!
  22. I have been in Bolzano a lot of years ago! I loved it! Great! If I come to Scotland I'll visit you! ;) So curios! B) Yes, I loved it! I think that, in comparison with all the other episodes of the series, the Special is the best ever! And you?
  23. So interesting! Where are they going to live? Aaand...where do you live in Scotland?
  24. Hi everyone This summer I'd like to go on holiday in Ireland or Scotland and I was wondering if someone of you is from those places, so maybe we can meet
  25. I think that Sherlock has a sort of disillusion towards people. I mean, he suffered a lot in the past (as you were saying beacuse of Redbeard and Mycroft), so maybe he is convinced that from people he would never have something good. He is convinced that, in case he cares about someone, now or then this person would hurt him and maybe abandon him. This would explain why Sherlock doesn't want to open himself to other people. This would emply confidence, so friendship, so feelings for other people and, in the end, weakness and sufference. If you think about that, not caring about anyone is easier.
