You know your "Sherlock" obsession is bad when...
Amber§ replied to Joanhs's topic in BBC Sherlock General Discussion.
This night I dreamt Ben. I was I don't know where with a lot of people (schoolmates, friends and so on). Then Ben appeared and I went to met him. We became friends and he said that he would be happy if we met again!! I'm getting crazy aaah!! -
Maybe the ship is sinking and he's looking for someone to help them?

Benedict Cumberbatch in "The Imitation Game"
Amber§ replied to Carol the Dabbler's topic in Cast & Crew
 Oh, yes, he's so....so....perfect!! Some months ago I watched "War Horse". It's a drammatic film, very beautiful. Ben has a secondary part and he acts only a few minutes, but he's absolutely the best of the actors (as always :P ). I liked that film for that, because it's not only an invented story and because, as you said, it makes think a lot. It tells the story how it really was and show Turing's sufferences and his extraordinary intelligence. Reading the story from Wikipedia doesn't leave me anything, any feeling, any opinion, that's only objective. But watching that film left me emotions and also changed me, because now it's like I lived this story almost myself. -
Dunno, other than the dog had to be put down since Sherlock says to mind palace Redbeard (English name) in HLV: "They're putting me down too now. It's no fun, is it?" Yes, but I think that dog was special for Sherlock and that he's not so "traumatised" only because it was put to sleep. Maybe we'll know something more is S4

Benedict Cumberbatch in "The Imitation Game"
Amber§ replied to Carol the Dabbler's topic in Cast & Crew
Sorry if I join this discussion only now, but I love that film!! I saw Benedict acting for that time in that film and I fell in love with him. Oh he was fantastic. Also the film was fantastic! And the most impressive part was the ending, I cried a lot!! I got totally involved in the story and I felt all the emotions of the characters, expecially Touring -
Uh I have to ask you a question, I didn't know in which topic put it, but I thought it was connected with Mycroft, so.... In Sherlock series, in the last episodes, Mycroft talks so often about a dog (in italian its name is Barbarossa). Every time Sherlock is not at ease when the dog is mentioned and when he's dying he finds the though of the dog as a beautiful memory. I asked myself: what happened to this dog?

Yes, Legend of Korra is bettere than Legend of Aang, it's more a cartoon for adults than for children, there are many things to reflect on and difficult themes.

Is he a guide? I don't know, safari guide or something like that?
-
Hiii!! Welcome to both of you!

Maybe Sherlock, in a particular way, is already in love with Molly. He realises he needs her, but he doesn't want to admit it or maybe he doesn't understand that is actually in love with her (yes, that's a bit philosophic). As he doesn't want to admit that he needs John. I think Sherlock is kind of afraid to show people his weaknesses, he wants to show the others (and to himself) that is invulnerable. He wants to show that he's strong and that he doesn't need anyone. Maybe Sherlock and Molly won't never be engaged to each other, in effect it would be a too ordinary ending for a character like Sherlock, but I think they would carry on a relationship of love. Molly herself says that maybe people like Sherlock are her type and nobody is like Sherlock.

Benedict is the first of the list (of course ahaah), then I love Johnny Depp, Martin Freeman and Colin Morgan.

-Sherlock -Atlantis -Merlin -the 100 -Once upon a time in Wonderland -Avatar the legend of Aang and Korra -The Librarians -Zoo Most of them are of the last year, so I'm waiting for the new seasons

Mmh, I've always seen Slytherins as a bit negative people (maybe because Malfoy is a Slytherin), so I would,t put anyone of Sherlock's characters in Slytherin, except Moriarty. How about John? I think he's an Hufflepuff
-
Is he a sailor?
-
Oh, absolutely! Sherlock and Molly are made for each other! I can see Sherlock in a relationship only with Molly or, better, with Eirene Adler.

Oh!! Neither my cinema got those tickets! What a pity! :( -
I too don't like Sarah very much, because I think she isn't very nice and sweet with John, Mary is much better, in my opinion.

Episode 4.0: The Abominable Bride (alias The Special)

Uh I've never thought that Jeanine could be a problem for Sherlock. I figured her like a not very clever person, maybe impulsive or sensible, but not brilliant. And sometimes I find her a bit unbearable. Of course Sherlock used her and this isn't fair, but I can't see Sherlock in love with Jeanine, the figure of the massive intellect and impeccable person would fall at my eyes. And I hope that Jeanine would't be involved with Moriarty, because, in my opinion, she's angry with Sherlock and she could become very very bad. -

I think that Mycroft won't die also because in Conan Doyle's books he's alive until the end (if I remember well). Making him die in the series, in my opinion, would put too much distance between the show and the book and many people wouldn't appreciate it (like me, for example) -

Sorry for my ignorance but, in the film, Sherlock was so convinced to find the body of the two womans (the bride and her "sostitute") in the same grave. I didn't understand why Sherlock was so sure to find them together. They could have been inhumed in different places, couldn't they? -

This is quite scary, I agree with you, but, at the same time, I feel more protected from criminals or "bad" people. I mean, if there are cameras on the buses, at the corners of the streets, criminals aren't very incouraged, because the know that they could easily be recognised thanks to the photos taken by cameras.
