Watson does look interesting, though it's apparently available only via streaming:

Apparently Netflix is also carrying it now.  You can see the trailer plus a few clips on IMDb.  According to IMDb, there are a few other canon (or in some cases, perhaps nod-to-canon) characters in the show:  Sherlock Holmes (presumably in flashbacks, as the series is set after his death), Dr. Mary Morstan, Moriarty, Detective Lestrade, and Mycroft Holmes.

Hi everyone, 

Long time no see. A bit of a life update from me. My last day of my internship was yesterday, I brought a thank you card and a fruit basket to thank my colleagues. My studies are coming to an end, everything from school is done. Now all that's left is counting down till the 26th, then it's time for the graduation ceremony

That was very thoughtful of you.  I suspect a lot of people would have just yelled "yippee!" on their way out the door, regardless of how much help they'd been given.

Well, it was my second internship, I didn't do anything on my first internship. My second internship was such an improvement for me, the colleagues were so no nice. I'm going to miss them terribly
