Now I just need to remember to check the local Hot Topic in October, when the Funko Sherlock figures are scheduled for release.

Eek!  It's November!  And I just drove past that mall earlier today!

Told you I'd forget -- but presumably the store will still have the figures, at least until Christmas.

OK, I did it -- stopped at the mall on my way back from Mom's tonight and got me a Funko John Watson.

When I went to pay for it, the clerk told me I could get another figure for half price, so I went back and got a Sherlock for Alex.

He's out of town right now, but when I emailed him about my purchase, he said they sound cute and he's looking forward to seeing them.

I haven't started on the Funko ones yet.  Don't really like them as much as the Titans.  I did start collecting the Doctor Who Titans now, but only from the 9th doctor forward.

I've never seen the Titans "in person" but on the BBC Shop website, they strike me as an odd mix of realism and -- something else.  Kinda creepy overall.  On the plus side, I see that they do have just about everybody!

Well, the male character Titans look half way decent, but the female characters all look sort of male in the face.  And the one for Irene Adler looks positively chunky!  Mary and Molly really don't look quite right although Molly's profile is fine. They're actually really cute but quite small.  The thing is that they come "blind" - in other words, you don't know what you're getting as they aren't in window boxes (with a couple of exceptions).  So it's best to buy them on EBay where the box is already opened and you DO know what you're getting.    Moriarty in the straight jacket is hilarious.  Moriarty with the crown is pretty cute too.

You mean the box doesn't even say (in print) which character is inside?  It's like the trading cards in a pack of bubblegum?  How bizarre!  It does seem that one can buy the complete set, which presumably does have one of everybody.  But (short of eBay) there's no way to reliably buy just, say, a John Watson, huh?

I like most of the faces, sort of -- though they all look a bit uncomfortable, at best.  But the combination of the fairly realistic faces with a body that's literally shorter than the head....  Well, between those and the fully-whimsical Funko figures, I choose the latter!

OK.  I can appreciate that the show Sherlock is about SHERLOCK.  But... c'mon...  5 Sherlock options and no Molly?  No Mrs. Hudson?  No Mary?

I messaged Funko Pop for the 2nd time today.  They did reply this time and said great idea, we'll pass it along.  lol    I'm not getting my hopes up, but maybe if enough people ask about other characters.

If the current Sherlock figures are selling well, they might be looking to expand the line.  Who knows?

I personally am not likely to buy anything in addition to my John Watson figure, but for those of you who would love to collect 'em all, here's Funko's contact form for your suggestions!

OK, help me pick a Sherlock Funko Pop...

I really like the violin one, but I'm also partial to the Barnes & Noble deerstalker one.  Help?  I'm also gonna get Watson, Mycroft (of course!), and contemplating Moriarty in the crown jewels.

OK, I ended up opting for violin Sherlock.  I was oddly drawn to that one.  I blame Scandal for that.

Good choice, sittything! I was fortunate enough to get John, Sherlock (with no objects in hand,) and Crown Jewel Moriarty. Such great quality in these figurines!

I am now only missing one of the Sherlock Titans although it is supposedly still on pre-order only.  I will order it next month.  It wouldn't surprise me, however, if the came out with Victorian Sherlock and John, perhaps to coincide with a comicon somewhere.

I would love Victorian versions, but hopefully they would come out with a Molly or a Greg first before making more versions of Sherlock and John. Either way, though, I would be quite happy :D

The Titan figurines do have a Molly and Greg, so you must mean a different brand.

I haven't kept up with the Titans line, but I am amazed to see that Big Chief Studios has announced their plans to offer Victorian Holmes and Watson action figures (based on "Abominable Bride").  Recalling that I didn't find their modern figures convincing (especially their John), I am particularly delighted with their Victorian Watson.  (Their Victorian Holmes, like their modern Sherlock, is pretty good, though not great.)  I may actually have to scrape together the money this time -- assuming that their mass-production product matches these prototypes.

Are these the ones that cost an arm and leg?

I wish they make victorian 5inch, I really like that one a lot, and affordable, and realistic enough, but they don't have John.

I'm hoping that Titan will come out with a Victorian Sherlock and John.

I recently bought the Sherlock with violin because I think it's the cutest. I was lucky having a coupon from Elbenwald, so I got it way cheaper. Now I hope soon to get John somehow, so Sherlock is not lonely anymore :D...but till then he's got his violin or can talk to Captain Jack Harkness or Mulder & Scully, haha....EMP got loads of Funkos on sale but no Sherlock...and that's where they are cheapest yet. *sigh*

And I also thought 'Why is there no Molly or Mrs Hudson???' :(
