  1. Isn't he? I liked him a lot as well. Of course, they cast a very good actor. I liked Jacob and the Goldstein sisters as well and I thought the romance between Queenie and Jacob was just lovely. It was very well done, both characters were basically comic relief yet the movie still managed to treat them with respect. This is the first thing I've actually seen Eddie Redmayne in. I have to say, I don't find him very attractive in photos... but if Newt Scamander isn't adorable.... *fans self* Jacob and Queenie were very cute too.
  2. I am totally crushing on Newt Scamander. What a great movie and such a lovely character.
  3. I just want to know who he loves. I know it's not going to be Molly, but did they have to put that in the trailer just to torture me? Of course they did. ETA: Obviously, he may not be genuinely telling anyone he loves them. We know nothing b/c... context.
  4. I need Series 5.... eventually. Please. Gimme.
  5. Doesn't look anything like their parents' house.. Given the windows and Mycroft standing there (I believe that's him in front of the burning house), I'd guess it's either Mycroft's house or someone else's...
  6. Well, we know this is likely ep. 3 because of the sweater from filming photos. I'm guessing the call is about/is Sherlock? But yeah, she's clearly distraught. This season is gonna rip my heart out and dance all over it. I should probably just go ahead and go book that flight to go yell at Gatiss now.
  7. Ah, good. Must just be the lighting. Glad to see I was very wrong.
  8. I'm fine with an ending, I just think if this is it... they have a lot to wrap up for me in 3 episodes to make it feel complete.
  9. I don't think that's Molly's hand. I'm more than a bit concerned.
  10. It introduced me to Mark Gatiss and Loo Brealey and for that I am forever grateful. Adorable cupcakes.
  11. Recently watched Boondock Saints! Much funnier than I expected it to be! Not that this is exactly a new movie, but new to me!
  12. Did you guys see where Loo said that by S4? That made me happy. I'd love to see her get more interaction, other relationships outside just Sherlock.
  13. I think my question is... did they intend for there to be a hint of something or did it just happen? I think if many of the scenes in TEH had been played just slightly differently, it could have had a very different feel... less of a "date" feel. Was that 100% intentional or was it just the chemistry of the actors? Did they just intend that Sherlock really was just thanking Molly in a friendly manner?
  14. I don't think Sherlolly is likely but, it's not off the table... yet. "Something happened in the last season and now we no longer laugh at the idea, that yes, something could happen between them." - Loo I'm actually really glad Loo said that b/c I'd begun to think I'd imagined or grossly misinterpreted so many of their interactions in S3.
  15. I like your dad.
  16. I actually just got straight introvert: You are more of an introvert You feel that living alone is to live happily, and you prefer hiding in a crowd rather than standing out in one. You are perpetually tormented by the idea of doing things wrong, not understanding or not being alert enough or intelligent enough to do what others expect of you. You lack in self-confidence and you seem to believe that others are better than you. While in a conversation, for example, you would be more likely to go along with the other’s points of view as you don’t fully respect your own opinions. Where there’s a low level task to complete or a service to be allotted, it’s you who volunteers. When people want to get out of a task, they naturally come to you as they know that you never say ‘no’. It’s not surprising that you sometimes have the impression of being permanently exploited, but you don’t really know how to break this vicious circle. On the rare occasions that you’ve tried to do so, this uncharacteristic defiance has caused uproar and you’ve ended up backing down. You are afraid of contact with others as you imagine that they are constantly judging you and that their probing looks will obviously find your faults. So, you try to remain the most transparent and discreet possible. How far will you take this logic of self-denigration? Try and stop projecting onto others the bad image you have about yourself. Have a good look around you and you’ll see that they too have faults, weaknesses and shortcomings, so stop finding excuses for everything. Maybe you were brought up in an atmosphere of ‘You’ll never make the grade’ as a child — a poison that you need progressively to get out of your system. Learn to look after your own interests — everyone else does, so why not you? You too have desires, dreams and opinions — express them. If you think that by saying no or thinking differently from others that you will no longer be loved, it just isn’t so. Others will learn to respect you because you respect yourself.
  17. This is why I love Jane Austen: "I could not sit seriously down to write a serious romance under any other motive than to save my life; and if it were indispensable for me to keep it up and never relax into laughing at myself or other people, I am sure I should be hung before I had finished the first chapter."
  18. Really? How so? I did have a horrible thought that they have some horrible moment as Molly is dying. lol. But then, is that really beautiful? Well, some of them. I'm just excited it seems we're getting a meaningful scene between them, even though I don't think it's necessarily romantic (although a shipper can dream!). I'd settle for a proper kiss. Like a real, non-imaginary one. But I think that's about as likely to happen as engagement. lol
  19. I died today.
  20. Well, Carol. Unfortunately we were right. I'd consider maybe going and getting the Gold package since we have Southwest miles, but it'd have to be a hell of a cast list attending (meaning Mark and Loo) for me to make the trek.
  21. Mycroft's other office... kinda looks like a bunker...
  22. I dunno how ACD was sooo bad at that. So bad.
  23. I think I'm still hanging my hat on a twin. Given there were both a Professor and Colonel Moriarty in the books, between that and the twins comment in TAB, I still think that's it. It's simplistic, maybe too simplistic, but then Moriarty did say that Sherlock always wanted everything to be clever.
