  1. My favourite Non-BBC Sherlock: Gonna have to say Ian McKellen in Mr. Holmes. I liked the take on what an older Sherlock would be like, and I think McKellen pulled it of beautifully. H/T to Brent Spiner. I love Data! Watson: Ian Hart, The Hound of the Baskervilles. I don't know, I just loved his absolute so-done-with-your-crap attitude towards Holmes. (i guess I like Ian's in Sherlock Holmes adaptions) Lestrade: Eddie Marsan, Sherlock Holmes. Just Yes! Close second is Sean Pertwee in Elementary, but I'm a sucker for anything Sean Pertwee. Mycroft: RHYS IFANS!!! Elementary. Brilliantly pulled off, he is the very embodiment of fed up older brother. He is both cunning and smart and yet, isn't that wise. Honestly, I like Ifans even better than Gatiss. Irene: Idk, uhhh. Natalie Dormer, Elementary, I guess. I do't really like any incarnation of this character, never really done it for me, but this one at least made it believable that Sherlock could fall for her. Moriarty: None. All are pale in comparison to Andrew Scott. 221b: House . I love how subtly they dropped it. I have yet to watch the Sherlock Holmes with David Gareth-Lloyd (Ianto Jones, Torchwood) and Dominic Keating (Lt. Malcolm Reed, Star Trek: ENT) but I love both of them, so my opinion may change. Who knows?
  2. I LOVE Owen! He is tied for favourite, alongside Ianto!
  3. Wow. I just spent probably fifteen minutes scrolling through this.
  4. I have been thinking about this for a while. What if the third Holmes sibling was just normal. When Mycroft says "we both thought you were stupid", what if he did mean the other sibling. As a normal person you may find that Sherlock's complete lack of social skills and lack of common sense com off as "stupid". Also it could have been a jealousy thing, especially if they were the oldest/older sibling.I personally think a sister would be a better idea, because three Holmes boys running around is just to much. IMMHO.
  5. What about Adam Warlock for Mr. Freeman? I think he could totally do it, but maybe that is just me?
  6. Lestrade. Enough said.
  7. I was born in Bury St.Edmonds in Great Britain, but we moved to the US when I was little. I am planning on going back.
  8. Do give it another try! I hated it at first, but after I got over the fact that it was niether BBC's Sherlock nor the classic Conan Doyle, I was able to enjoy it more. I love that Ifans' Mycroft is so well suited to Miller's Sherlock.
  9. Hi! I'm Goodnoght-Vienna. I chose this name because it is the first of the two (that I can find) instances that Sherlock referenced Vienna in the BBC series. I was the first sublte connection I ever made between the first two series and sparked a new interest in the series. It seems to have coe to nothing, though, because I haven't been able to find one in the third. My picture is my favourite jumper and my wellies, because my favourite weather (rainy and cool) I call Jumpers and Wellies weather. (JumpersWellies is my twitter if you are interested in following ;) !
  10. BADGER!!!!! I LOVE Mark Sheppard! I would love to see him in Sherlock. And, in a way, it would give everyone the SuperWhoLock crossover that has been in high demand. I would be the perfeect solution!
  11. Oh. My. Goodness! The Graves family are sooo cute!
  12. Valley of Fear was the most fun to read, IMMHO. But you can't beat the first. Study in Scarlet remains the best. I also like Boscombe Valley and Silver Blaze.
  13. The Three Garridebs is one of my favourites solely because of the relationship between Holmes and Watson that is generally ony alluded to in the other mysteries.
  14. I personally really like this show. My favourite character is Rhys Ifans' Mycroft! I also love Sean Pertwee's Lestrade.
