  1. I know, right? It's agony this waiting!
  2. Yes, murder/mayhem/mystery is coming for sure. It is weird to think that they ALL have killed other people by now.... They're one mean nest of vipers them lot in 221b .
  3. --- and what do you think the "exactly" and the "now" mean?
  4. Dang them! Curse Mofftiss! It's driving me kerazy that I can't figure out what they meant. No idea. none whatsoever, nada, nothing, null set and void. Sigh... "virus in the data" refers to it? but what is "it"??? "he is on all the tv screens in England" is that a clue?? but wha? how? where? who? Something about the computers at tv stations being virus infected??? But what is Moriarity going to do next? Waugh.... And Arcadia thought SHOES were a painful topic?
  5. TAB was a treat! A holiday marvel. Especially the shoes and costumes ; ) Now -- what did Sherlock mean when he said he knew "exactly" what Moriarity was going to do "now"??? Hmmmm? (is that more to your liking, Arcadia?)
  6. Well, she did have a boyfriend at work who turned out to be a murderous psychopath?
  7. Arcadia - didn't your mamma ever tell you not to do that or else your eyes would get stuck that way? ; )
  8. A d'orsay pump. They are cut away from the arch on either the inner arch side or both. http://images.us.christianlouboutin.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/thumbnail/1200x/602f0fa2c1f0d1ba5e241f914e856ff9/3/1/3/0/christianlouboutin-iriza-3130524_F094_1_1200x1200_1461081066.jpg Also, I will note that Irene Adler's shoes in SiB marked the first and only time to date I've ever purchased an item of clothing simply because a television character was wearing it. Boton - photo of your pair, pretty please? and speaking of Irene, I saw Sherlock give *that* look to her feet/shoes. Did anyone else?
  9. It looks great, but must be awfully uncomfortable.<<<<----- yeah, like mentioned before, "impractical footwear". Long human history of getting women to want and to put on "awfully uncomfortable" footwear. Weird, huh?
  10. Feast your eyes, Arcadia! ------> https://www.google.com/search?q=victorian+shoes+female&safe=active&rlz=1CAACAG_enUS601US601&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=655&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiw76j6l-LMAhVLDZoKHRluB28QsAQILQ
  11. Nope. I love shoes discussions just because you are alive. Bicyling outfit? I really should rewatch this. victorian cycling outfit female<------------ see google images
  12. Surely other people know about Redbeard as well: Mum and Dad Holmes, minimally (plus don't forget that Mum, like all the women in Sherlock, has some sort of mysterious past). Then there was presumably a veterinarian. And you know how the neighbors will talk.... Oh, I meant only Mycroft knew that Redbeard was Sherlock's soft spot, his Achille's heel, or his "pressure point" as Magnussen had it. Parents, vet, neighbors aren't going to know about that intimate history and meaning. So far, at least, Mofftiss have only shown us Mycroft and Magnussen as knowing this aspect.
  13. oops...that should've read "impractical footwear"
  14. I've begun to think there is a Mycroft-Magnussen evil plot.... only Mycroft knew about Redbeard, and it is kept in pink notebook in his inside pocket. Thus no one can read it surreptitiously ... yet Magnussen knew about Redbeard! And Sherlock suspected Mycroft was "under his thumb".... Maybe this is the plot point that "no one has picked up on?" Okay, how about this topic then: WHAT "exactly" is Moriarity going to do "now"? as Sherlock said at the end of TAB. It's really driving me kerazy! What? Who? Where? Wha????
  15. perfect example of "impracticle footwear"
  16. TAB Mary's boots w/ her bicycling outfit!!! Wonderful!!! Too bad we couldn't see any of her other shoes w/ her other outfits though. I loved her costumes, hats, veils and etc.
  17. Mofftiss taking literary license when it suits them... in real life, yes, CCTV would and could be used w face recognition software to find Sherlock but.... this is Moffitss world and "real life" only comes into it when they want it to. It strikes me that watching and thinking about Sherlock and his world becomes a game of reading/navigating the Mofftiss mind rather than any reality as we know it.
  18. and in the commentary, they say it is the ONLY scene (pre-TAB) between Mycroft and Lestrade. If you haven't seen this scene, go watch it again --- Mycroft gives a very condescending wee wave w/ one hand to Lestrade once he finishes talking. As if to say, "get outta here you minion I have important things to do and you... don't"
  19. we don't see Mary's face during the interview w/ Anderson/Benji but.... she then shows up at Leinster Gardens thus giving her away to us.
  20. I've always thought Molly was referring to Sherlock staying with her after TRF, not during the current gone-missing episode. I also took it as a broken 4th wall kind of interview, no interviewer intended by Mofftiss....but it's interesting to note that it's the only interview that we (the viewer) don't know who it is doing the interview! I also took it to mean that Sherlock had let Anderson and any/all that group of fans know about the fake facade house well in advance... in preparation for the day when for some reason, Sherlock would need to have a secret meeting place with someone who would contact Anderson/fan group. But ... to get back to original question: what are the top 3 ideas here that folk have on what Moffat says we've missed?
  21. I would like to see healthy emotional growth and insight... that would be a really good way of "modernizing" Sherlock. But I have no idea if that is what Mofftiss is going for or not. Modernizing - which includes societal changes towards women and also towards homosexuality? I dunno about TAB though, I really felt they cough, cough, got the mansplainin' thing bad.
  22. I've been wondering if Mofftiss, in their quest to modernize Sherlock, is going to make Sherlock more and more capable of "emotional intelligence", understanding, and participation in emotions. If they are going to make him more psychologically modern in that respect - not stuck in his repressed, lonely, bizarre emotional dead-zone. Indeed, immediately after Sherlock says "I really cannot congratulate you" during his best man speech, he stops himself, pauses and then says, 'but ... now I can' and moves on w/ praising Mary and John and their couplehood. Sherlock accepts John's help at the RF during TAB - same sort of "emotional growth" in the Sherlock character, no? Maybe a bit?
  23. and the lost slipper of Sir Eustace..... not to mention John and Sherlock's almost-boots. What shoe discussion??
