Gawd, I hope he got paid a fortune to do this to himself........... And thank goodness that's all for ALL, now I don't have to see the movie. (Which is getting slammed in the reviews, by the way, particularly BC's part.) (Not his acting, just his role.)

Benedict looks impressive as a model (male or female or transgender! ) The Vanity Fair shoot and his little game with Mr Gatiss in the extras of the Abominable episode show that he takes himself much less seriously than the fandom hopes he should. If we're around in about twenty years, I would bet you and Arcadia any BC- convention tickets you would care to attend that he will use the Zoolander footage in whatever digital form of the time to embarrass his son, just as his father (a more reserved generation, that) does by wearing ridiculous Christmas-themed bow ties and socks.

That's what comes from a long lineage of distinguished people: a higher level of self-confidence than us mere mortals, a higher level of entitlement along with it: I will do this because I can!

Alternatively, you can blame the whole fanfiction and tumblr world: he could have woken up one morning, given the précis of the material floating out there, and feeling wholly fed up with TJLC and the rest grabbed this cameo role out of sheer frustration.

In the meantime, let's wish the happy couple a very enjoyable first anniversary today! For them a !

I am very indifferent with BC's private life, and I also someone who doesn't pay normal attention to anniversaries, birthdays or those sorts.

Here, I actually have a dozen of orange blankets for TRF rewatch that I don't think I use anytime soon....

But crap...making that gif makes me want to rewatch SIB.

We'll probably get more Dr. Strange closer to release date.  As for hair ruffles: TEH Anderson's Sherlolly theory, TSOT Bloody Guardsman sneaking into barracks, & I can't recall the 3rd one.  He does run his left hand through his hair at 1 point in TAB but it's not a ruffle.

I believe the third hair-pulling attempt is at the beginning of Hound. In no way can they be described as ruffles, but to each their own!
