I'm an ENFP. I feel exposed, very good insight to my personality. Erie how spot on it is.

Oh! I completely overlooked the fact that there was a description. Hm. Oh. No. You guys are right. This

is creepy. My combination (INFJ) is bloody accurate for me as well! And I made sure by reading the other descriptions, too, in case they all sounded relatable, but nope, only the one the test made me did. Damn. This is scaring me. :P

Just noticed that we are all introverts here... that's interesting!  :sherlock:

Not me... I'm almost 100% extrovert, according to the test. But I'm sure you all see that in my posts. I'm beyond a social butterfly in real life.

I think its why I truly despise Molly... Goodness gracious girl, stand up straight & complete a sentence without stumbling. Ugh!

No need to be scared. You told them all about yourself, and they basically just repeated it back to you (though in a tidy pre-packaged form). Nothing creepy about it, really. Though, yes, it is actually kinda creepy!

It's a pretty useful tool, actually -- used correctly. My boss tried to use it to convince everyone should become more like her.

As the official Myers-Briggs website says, "The goal of knowing about personality type is to understand and appreciate differences between people. As all types are equal, there is no best type."

But you knew that already!  Too bad your boss didn't.  (Though I will admit to telling Alex to "be reasonable."  :D  )

I ain't hatin'. Just trying to help that girl out! Shoot, if I was her friend, she would at least have Sherlock distracted by now. Make him a little dizzy...

OK, so you meant that you despise her behavior? Bendy wasn't the only one who thought you meant you actually hate her.  Glad to hear that's not the case, even if she is fictitious!  ;)

I have always been painfully introverted but I tell you what it's pretty darn hard to play pirate and remain that way thank heaven.

Sorry Jess, I must have overlooked your post.

I don't get how can anyone dislike Molly. She's so sweet. I can totally understand her behaviour around Sherlock though unlike her I would try very hard not to show my feelings :)

Girl bye! No big deal you missed that I am extroverted! Technically, I don't not like Molly, as much as I feel sorry for her... She's very smart, but she comes off as really dopey sometimes. But it does seem everyone else adores her except me.

Hay, you also didn't understand how one of my favorite scenes could be Magnussen flicking John's face, remember.

Play pirate?

Fox doesn't just "play" pirate, she gets paid for it!  :D

*shudder*

I guess I'm glad in a way that someone actually likes that scene, after everything Martin Freeman went through when they filmed it.

And that shows the difference between extroverts and introverts. Introverts can sympathize with Molly and her behaviour because she's "one of us" but extroverts (it seems it's only you here :D) can't.

I do remember that and still don't understand :D

I somehow thought you liked what he did to John! But yes, the acting was great. If it hadn't been good I would have found Magnussen not disgusting but rather ridiculous.

I don't fully understand, so I'll let Fox explain.  But basically, it's her job.  She's a professional pirate!

A professional plunderer and pillager. We are learning not to burn, which I suppose is a good thing if we want to get invited back to do it all again.

That's a pretty good explanation. I've always sort of wondered why opinions vary on Molly so much, to me she's so obviously likeable.

Now, I wonder whether anything about that personality test can explain the ways we react to Mary.

Mary? Well, I'm a bit ambivalent about her. She shot Sherlock, but on the other hand she was trying to protect John from the truth about her. She didn't trust John to love her if ever he found out about her past -- I can understand that -- but that doesn't justify bashing Janine in the head, going to kill Magnussen, and shooting Sherlock. Maybe it was just a hardwired, Pavlovian response to the situation, shooting him and knocking out Magnussen. There could have been another way had circumstances allowed her to think it over more.

Boy, this test just gets scarier every minute. I just did it with someone I know very well, and the description rang totally true. I'm befuddled!

I tried it and put in the answers I thought Sherlock would put in. Got INTP, but I'm suspicious because that's what I am, I may simply be projecting myself. Anyone else want to try to pretend to be Sherlock and see what you get?

He's obviously an I and a T but I'm not sure about the other two..... he's pretty subtle in those areas.

Well, I tried the same thing for fun just now, and I got INTP, too, and that's not my own result. So... who knows. I didn't recognize him from the description much, though. Whew. It seems that fictional characters at least are safe from this test.
