The only access to the photos is via a "guest pass" for the whole album - and this is the link I posted. The "normal" link you forwarded, Carol, would show only the items that are not set as private. There are 45 photos in the auction album.

 

More info will follow soon - recent sleepless nights knocked me out yesterday evening.

 

Would it be possible to move the thread into Irene's Adler Lounge? Or shall I start another thread over there?

Well, as for the donations - I actually thought about this ones

Germany Helps which is an association of relief organizations. They provide a donation receipt (as a proof)

The other one is Oxfam International, supported by Martin Freeman

Both work with PayPal

 

We have to agree about the currency and the time zone used for the bidding.

 

Then - I have 34 items in total. I still didn't figure out how to place them... Actually I would need 34 threads, one for each item. Would it be okay? We can delete them all after the auctions' end.

Having 34 threads would probably be the least confusing way to do it.  Please give them titles that all start out the same way (e.g., "Auction") so they'll be easy to spot, in case we do decide to delete them later.

I intend to make the donation in the forum name - if it is okay with forum admin - and maybe send a note to Amanda.

Anyone wants to make the number looking better? I'm adding 10 £.

Okay, together with extra donations we have 88 £.

Because 20 € were directly sent to the charity, there are 73,15 £ left.

 

If nobody wants to add any donation, I'm sending the sum to Oxfam tomorrow.
