I had exhausting social meeting, so I have excuse to take one guess and one guess only. :p

(Hey, I don't read the Special News because I want to watch it without knowing too much, and not much can be deduced from the picture, so there is no way I can answer this),

Bristol? (Heard something long time ago)

BBC site is the right concept. Totally wrong site. It's something a lot broader, more inclusive.

Bing's news feed, or whatever they call it? (The photos running along the bottom of their home page.) The image to the left looks like it might be some kind of flag, therefore unrelated to the special.....

Posted

Nope wrong site.  It covers less topics than Bing and covers the same industry that the BBC broadcasts.

Oi, this may be out of my knowledge range. Are we talking something like People magazine? Oh! Radio Times?

Posted

Nope not a publication of any sort.  Website only.  It's a website that gets referenced on here periodically.

Think, think, think.......

The website I remember mentioned/linked often here is Radiotimes, Sherlockology, and Ariane Devere... but I am probably the one who has least knowledge about news and all...

Posted

When it comes to Sherlock it is mentioned less often. When it comes to all of the other movie and tv stuff our beloved actors are in, it gets mentioned more often.

Still thinking ...

Variety? (.com)

No as that is still part of a physical publication.  This site has no physical publication and has multiple contributors.

Uncle!

You'll kick yourself if I give the answer.

Think about a site that would include information about movies and TV shows such as who is in the production: cast & crew. The information needs to be weighed with what has officially been released about the production be looked up.  Anyone can add or change information & it is not Wikipedia even though it is a similar concept only related to films and TV.

Correct Van Buren, your turn

Oh, that. Yeah, I've heard of that. :P Not where my mind was going at all, at all!

Oh. Lucky guess!

And.. here..

What are those?

Bonus question, where?

I was thinking some variation of a Japanese lanterns except I thought those were usually in water or hanging.  And it is too close together for saplings plus the wood structures look like houses of some sort for animals.

The vegetation looks a bit subtropical...? And it's sort of beach like, but that's not sand -- so like a dried up river bank or pond?  Are those some kind of traps for whatever creature lives there?

Camper, houses for some sort of animal, yes.

Arcadia, subtropical, yes. By definition of traps, it's not.

That is not the beach.

Good progress guys.

White paper ... what's drawn to white? Some kind of insects? And if so, are the houses for the insects, or are the insects food for whatever lives in the house?

The shape of the house suggests something that enters at ground level, but needs height for nesting or ... something.

Butterfly houses? Enter as a caterpillar, exit as a butterfly? But then what are the white things for? Hmmmm.....

Still think there's water nearby, is that a river or creek I see in the distance?

Like the deduction.

Insects, no, it's not house for insects or insect eaters. Not butterfly as well.

But you are right about water, the water body not in the picture.

The white paper has certain functionality, yes.

Clue..keyword is little.

Could it being housing for platypi?  Still have no idea about the white things.

Is some sort of amphibian involved in some way? (And I don't mean Carol the Dabbler. :) )
