nope. nothing edible.

Very fine gravel.

And I'm still high from seeing the Special, so I get another guess: :d

Someone's ashes? :p

No and No but the first one is closer.

Brown rice flour?

Posted

It might be unlikely, but any chance that this is a bottle of sand you brought back from a place you visit as something to remember of?

Why I think that: bottle is recycled. Something easily obtained and practical to keep anything, lightweight and durable, and able to contain water residue that comes with sand.

It's not edible and not some sort of holding live substance inside (like terrarium mentioned), label in tact means it's temporary and not for viewing purposes (which live terrarium/similar prefers to be). The material also doesn't fit as permanent display/aesthetic normally use more durable and presentable medium like glass.

It's meant to be just short-time keeping of something that would be transferred to another place.

Since I get to watch the Special, I get another guess too :P, it could also be a transfer tank for your aquarium? (Hence what look like sand and rock inside)

Not sand or anything for an aquarium. It can be mixed with sand and when I said the 1st was closer, I was referring to the fine gravel.

Nope. It is a type of food but not for any animal.

On my first read I thought you meant unprocessed cat offspring (litter) I almost spray out my food before I realise it's not that.

But you have three cowdances if you pretend you meant that. :cowdance: :cowdance: :cowdance:

P.S: nevermind, I decide you have cowdances anyway for making me  :blanket:

Wait..

You said it's not edible but type of food?

Not for any animal (human as human here or human as animal? (technically we are)

Because if you count human as animal too, and this is not their food,

Then...even though it doesn't look like what I imagine, there is only one probable answer here: it's Arcadia's green glob.

A type of food but inedible for human or animals, it could means like brown rice flour is inedible for human in that form but use them in baking or cooking will yield an edible result. Or, it is a food for plants or organism that is between plants and animals; some sort of fertilizer, either artificially-created or with natural means.

If that stuff looks green to you, you need to adjust your monitor. :P But looking at it IS making me strangely hungry.....

I just spent two hours writing a TAB post. Dang.. I need to eat, give me that green glob! XD

Errr..err... have to think..THINK!

Bear with my thinking process.

(since I barely get to work I get unlimited guesses :p)

Is it some sort of aggregate, a leftover from certain masonry process?

But why is it food? Food for who? Food but not edible? If it's fertilizer, I hardly know 'fine gravel' fertilizer shape.

Wait.. could it be crushed coral? I know certain type of fish that eat coral and spray out the leftover (something like that) out, but then again, it's not food for animal?

Technically, it's food leftover. And isn't it always food for some algae or other microorganism or something. Ah?

Anaerobic substrate for aquarium...but you said it's not aquarium...argh...

Could it be fine rock used for cooking? Some chestnut are fried with this to enhance their flavor, but I doubt this is that!

Unappetizing looking trail mix? Honey bits, product from bee, I don't know the term. (But not food!*(^*#^*(@ = curse is for myself)

Some kind of filtering for waste water?

You are putting it on what look like a counter, next to tupperware, seemingly indoor.

Wait.. that could mean...

anything...

Definitely not the green glob no matter what color it looks like on the screen ;)

SD is right that it is fertilizer.  I had some left over from a potted plant that has since died even though this particular variety is better suited for gardens instead of pots.  It is on a short shelving unit in front of a picture of my hubby & I with Santa from 14 or 15 years ago and next to a plastic container that I have chalk in.

I don't have picture. How about VBS as the one who lead me to the correct deduction (conductor of light? ;) ).

Hmm..hmm..conductor of light.. I should add this to list of funny things people call me :P

I have one.

Maybe somehow you guys know it straightaway. I didn't.

What is this?

I block the brand. (In blue)

It reminds me of giant speakers or amplifiers while looking like a weird building. Could it be either of those?

How about old computers/servers from circa 1970s or earlier.
