Biscuits/cookies?

Posted

Dry kibble for pets (I swear that I saw those colours in the pet section, including rubber-like 'bone for dental health' o_o)

Posted

Not biscuits, cookies or kibbles.

So,

There are mixing required.

There are coloring involved.

It's edible.

The size of the dough, the length is around same size with the width we see from picture.

It's more common in western countries.

US and UK might have different term for them, although I believe they recognise each other's term as well.

New clue: the end product could come in various sizes.

????

The only thing I can think of with that shape is a votive candle!

Okay, let's see ... is it something sweet?

Does each color have a different flavor?

Is it also available without the coloring?

Could it be Ice lollies/popsicles

Posted

Not ice lollies/popcicles.

One of the guesses is very close actually.

That's the dough proportion.

I didn't say it's final product's shape. :evilinside:

Yes.

Yes I believe so.

Yes I think it's possible, eventhough it would be not common.

Not exactly but quite similar.

Add: It may come in different sizes but the shape is the same.

Another clue, it can either be very helpful that gives the answer rightaway or no help at all. XD

Do you know how many episodes of Mythbusters I have seen over the years?  Absolutely no help because all of the ones I remember didn't have that.

So I quickly go to their website and do a little research. And it really is little.  Could it be a jaw breaker?

But..but.. that is not fair..XD

But anyway I was ready to drop more damaging clues I was so sure you guys would get it anyway.

Yes. Jawbreaker or Gobstopper is orrect..!

2rr2nav.jpg

It can take days or weeks to make them and multiple layer of coloring prosesses are needed in the round container (in the picture that I thiught would give away the shape).

I actually didn't watch that particular Mythbuster, but further reading about Jawbreaker, to my surprise, there are cases of them exploding after being exposed to heat (the article then said it is proven by Mythbuster).

Your turn Camper.

Identify the entity being cooked. (it is normally 1 larger piece)

Posted

not a pie. similar to but different from a crepe.  this gets rolled out unlike a crepe.

Posted

Interesting pattern, it rings a bell .... is this cooked by squishing it between two hot plates with the pattern on them?

Posted

'Skin' pastry to wrap something?

Posted

The base for apple struddle?

Or is it lefse? (Remember you mentioned it somewhere :p)

Posted

Ding ding ding, correct Van Buren it is lefse. It is normally 1 roundish shape but I find the gluten free variety is a little more picky in that regard.

Good memory, VBS!

Posted

{Thank you! But I just had hard time remembering a movie I watched a month ago, very hard. (Bridge of Spies, duh) Always lost selective memories here and there, the memory total blackout is getting too often it's scary sometimes.

When I removed my tonsil in 3rd grade, doctor said the side effect is forgetful. I don't believe him (for many other reason too), could it be true?}

Anyway, found one but I have to change the person in case he/she is famous. (I don't know him/her though)
