Never heard of mine either, not sure I appreciate being called a demi-god ... :p

Camp Half Blood

Head off right now to Camp Half Blood (as seen in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson books) - you belong there with the other demigods! Quests, adventures, mythology and games of capture-the-flag are in your future - with a few monsters thrown in, of course!

Mallory Tower stories are about the trials of young adulthood, about friendships and self-growth. Cherub and Camp Half-Blood are for thrill-seekers. ;)

I grew up reading Enid Blyton, translated. Remember Malory Towers, one of her many stories about school life. The template is always there are some misfits, some sport tournament, some party, and prank to the teacher. XD

Cherub and Camp Half-Blood are for thrill-seekers. ;)

Is that mean I can have play-date with Sherlock? Wohooo..!

Anyway, maybe it's fitting here, SD if you don't mind, let's see how much we resemble him.

I promised I'd find a test (in another thread) and prove Arcadia wrong that I'm (not highly-functioning) sociopath!

Are you a sociopath?

My result..err...6eqft3.jpg

Wait...wait..the description is not too bad.., actually not bad at all....?

According to this test, you have a little something in common with sociopaths. You are not fully there, but you do demonstrate a little anti-social behaviour from time to time, and it's little hard for you to follow certain social rules. The good news is that you do follow your heart, you love some people, you care about the ones in your life, and you do help those around you (every once in a while). Hey, aren't we all a little anti-social sometimes?

Heh heh heh, I got the answer I thought I'd get ....

You are NOT a sociopath!
What were you thinking? That you are actually a sociopath? You are one of the most sweet, brave and helpful people out there!
You love other people, you always help others, even at a great personal price, and you always (well, almost always) have a smile on your face.
So what are you still doing here? Go and take one of those "What kind of chocolate are you" quizzes!

I'm an angel! :evilinside:

I got that one too -- though it all depends on how one interprets the questions, doesn't it?  I can definitely be more objective than a lot of people, and they may think that means I don't care.

I started to post this anecdote on another thread the other day, but deleted it, which is just as well.  It's a much better fit here.

A friend was giving me a ride to a club meeting.  We were running a bit late, so my friend (the club president) was upset.  I figured there was no point in being upset -- it was a very informal club (really just a social gathering), and besides, we'd get there when we got there, regardless.  My attitude upset him and he said, "Well, you could at least worry!"

I'm enough of a sociopath to consider that statement pretty silly.

Sherlock's ability and willingness to distance himself in the name of objectivity is something that I can relate to. ^-^

That quiz is unfriendly to mobile, need to go to laptop to get the result. I wouldn't worry if branded as a sociopath there though, because the questions definitely favour those who like to 'serve' others. Dynamics of life needs them in conjunction with those who tends to choose to forgo niceties if necessary in order to attain much needed objectives. ;)

Finally get the result.

Umm, we're kind of sorry (and scared) to say this, but according to this test, you ARE a sociopath!

You probably already know that, based on your antisocial behavior and no sense of moral. Don't be angry, but you should probably seek help and guidance, before you find yourself doing something that can cause you and the people in your life a great heartache.
But hey, you would be great on reality TV!

Alright! This means I am very suitable to high-pressure situation [insert cheeky, very sarcastic  :lol5: toward the quiz]

Rather than nice Arcadia, I prefer the one in all mischievous glory  :evilinside:

Oh I'm not worry. In fact, I find it refreshing that I have excuse to justify my behaviour. XD wait...is that justify me as..

I actually on anxious side when I'm late. Really, really hate being late and prefer to be early instead. I also hate it whe people are late when they have appointment with me. Even ten, fifteen minutes, there are a lot of things I can do; I can water my plant, have longer shower or a meal. Longer than that I would leave without good explanation. I also desert interview appointment when the interviewers are being late without proper explanation, with defense that I don't work with that kind of boss.

Here's something I happened upon on BBC America while looking up something else.  It's a Who's your British celebrity husband quiz & Benedict is one of the options.  It took me 3 times to actually get him. I got David Tennant & Alan Rickman the 1st 2 times.

On my very first pass (and answering the questions as literally and honestly as possible):

Your result: Congratulations! Your British celebrity husband is Martin Freeman.

Mr. Freeman is a very down-to-earth sort of fellow, a man who does not put on airs and graces unnecessarily and is a little suspicious of everyone he meets at first. Once you're past his wall, you will find him to be a most delightful companion, a man of strong passions—particularly when it comes to matters of music and personal grooming—who sets great store in his own instincts and tastes.

Once you're past that faintly frosty exterior, you will find no more loyal a companion. He will be there the share the laughs and the tears, the highs and the lows, undercutting the drama of each with graceful humor and a knowing side-eye to any onlookers. He will also be a great guide to the history of soul music, so your household will always be blessed with dancing, providing you don't try and put on a song he hasn't previously vetted and approved.

Of course, Alex and Amanda might have something else to say about that!

Doubt that I get to keep him, though!  ;)

But seriously, I've been saying for some time that I think different people take to different actors' work -- or not -- in much the same way as they might take to someone at a party -- or not -- depending on their respective personalities.  In the case of someone reacting to an actor's work, it's presumably more the actor's style than their personality as such, but there's bound to be a certain amount of correlation between an actor's personality and their acting style (e.g., attention to detail is likely to show up -- or not -- in both areas).

Your result: Congratulations! Your British celebrity husband is Colin Firth.  << :o Who is that?! *clueless*

You are someone that likes things done soberly and properly, a preference that Mr. Firth shares utterly. He is also an ideal match for your bookish tendencies and your sly, hidden sense of humor. Other people like to trumpet their sense of fun with elbows in ribs and loud, braying laughs. You two are keener on a dry aside and a smirk, because that's where the real comedy lies.

Mr. Firth is also a devotee of the fine arts, and a man of impeccable breeding. He will be your escort to the ballet, to the theater, to the opera, to art galleries and to the symphony. He will not take you to a rave or challenge you to a shot-drinking competition, and he will not embarrass you in public by attempting to dance upon a table. He is, in short, your dream husband, whether he's making a cup of tea or emerging from a swim in a lake on a hot day.

@Arcadia: BC or Sherlock, which one do you prefer?  :P
