Thanks for re uploading that pic. Good one, Mr C, you tell 'em.

The vogue pics are great, and thanks for sharing the article. I'm curious just what the 'pap message' said as the image has been removed.

With Cabin Pressure being a radio sitcom, you don't exactly see it. The BBC site has this to say about it: Cabin Pressure is a sitcom about the wing and a prayer world of a tiny, one plane, charter airline; staffed by two pilots: one on his way down, and one who was never up to start with. Whether they’re flying squaddies to Hamburg, metal sheets to Mozambique, or an oil exec’s cat to Abu Dhabi, no job is too small, but many, many jobs are too difficult.

I was actually tempted to vote for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - the version with Alec Guiness as Smiley

Everyone grab a glass to raise, we have a celebratory toast to make! Ladies and gentlemen, it has come to my attention that we have our first forum member reach Two Thousand posts! Yes, that is correct, 2000 posts! Congratulations are in order, so without further ado, may I draw your attention to... **dramatic drumroll** Carol the Dabbler! Carol has certainly lived up to her name, dabbling in many posts and starting lots of new topics! She joined in April last year, when the forum was only about 2 months old, so she's been with us for a while now. As a forum, we couldn't wish for a more enthusiastic and helpful member (and mod). Congratulations Carol, here's to the next 1000 posts!

The radio sitcom about a rather small airline (an air 'dot' as they only have 1 plane) is being repeated on Radio 4 from the beginning. I don't know if iplayer for radio can be accessed outside of the UK, but if you haven't heard Cabin Pressure, it's definitely worth it. Cabin Pressure and for a silly little taster...

And stubbornness. And the fact that although Doctor Who was off the air, it never quite died. It was kept alive by books, magazines and audio adventures, although the unternet didn't really exist to keep it alive until after the movie in 1996. Actualy no, it did exist, but not that many fans had the wherewithal to access it unless they were serious geeks - getting onto the internet prior to Windows '95 was not pretty and not easy! Firefly lives on in comics, and don't forget, we did get Serenity - an amazing film that by all rights (if you believe TPTB) should never have happened. At least with Sherlock we KNOW we're getting more, even if the waiting drives us nuts in the process.

Oh, hell! What does that matter? So we go around the sun! If we went around the moon or round and round the garden like a teddy bear, it wouldn't make any difference! All that matters to me is the work! Without that, my brain rots. Put that in your blog. Or better still, stop inflicting your opinions on the world!
