Why did Moriarty kill himself?

Every one on the show is saying, no. That that particular Moriarty is dead. But, we have Moffat and from what I have read about him, he is infamous for bringing people back from the dead, so who knows at this point.

Can anyone help me, please? I'm looking for a fan page on which somebody lay out the theory that both Sherlock and Moriarty knew the other one wasn't really dead. And he wrote something like "anyway, I bet we'll see this dialogue between them taking place in S3/s4:" and then he wrote something like Sherlock saying he knew Jim faked his death but he still decided to jump because of the sniper, and Jim responding something like "yeah and I knew you only fake-jumped but decided to let it go because xyz"... I don't really remember the dialogue that, according to the fan, will take place, and I want to re-read it because I know it was fun to read it and I'm just working on a new explanation of a Reichenbach scene myself.... maybe one of you happens to know what I'm referring to even though I myself don't really remember what I mean ;)

Sorry, I'm no use to you, I'm afraid. But I wanted to thank you and some of the other newer members for finding all these old threads that I somehow missed seeing! I thought I combed through everything when I first joined, but apparently not ... there's some cool stuff in these old threads. Going back to reading theories now.....

Schlauer Fuchs, are you talking about something on this forum specifically, or something somewhere on the internet?

No, I can recall that the background was light, so definitely not this forum. Apart from that, I remember hardly anything... this dialogue that's supposed to take place was no more than 5-10 lines long, just a short snippet. I don't even know if that person did speculations on S3 or S4, just that I thought "haha, that could actually come up". I've been on so many websites with speculations that I can't find my way back to it :(

I saw it as Moriarty being bored with life and wasn't interested in living any longer, he thought death was a better option.
