Everyone grab a glass to raise, we have a celebratory toast to make!

Ladies and gentlemen, it has come to my attention that we have our first forum member reach Two Thousand posts! Yes, that is correct, 2000 posts! Congratulations are in order, so without further ado, may I draw your attention to...

Carol the Dabbler!

Carol has certainly lived up to her name, dabbling in many posts and starting lots of new topics! She joined in April last year, when the forum was only about 2 months old, so she's been with us for a while now. As a forum, we couldn't wish for a more enthusiastic and helpful member (and mod).

Congratulations Carol, here's to the next 1000 posts!

Yes!  And ... at least 1983 of them have been well-worth reading!

Congratulations Carol, you are a true credit to the forum! (and so is everyone, hurrah!)

Oh, that's...talent! Awesome! And I look at the fact that I joined before Carol...and then at my post count... and then...I go hide in a corner.

Right, Carol, and now in a fortnight and a day you've done 121 posts. How do you do it? It. Is. Amazing.

I did 100 posts in about 2 months and a half...I need to post more and lurk less.

Well, it's partly the curse of being a mod.  I feel I ought to read every single post, in case anyone's having a problem -- but then I frequently read something that I'm interested in, you see....

Thanks for your good wishes, everyone!

I often read through lots of threads and feel I don't really have anything to say about it, or don't have time to post the enormous amount of words I actually do have to say, so my post usually end up being short and concise and in pretty much the same places...

Knowing when you have nothing to add is a good thing, Alice.  As is budgeting your time.  I'd say you're doing just fine.
