Hmm hmmm I think I chose some stuffs from BBC shop quite sometime ago and left them in the cart without buying.

Maybe it's time to buy myself some Christmas presents. :)

Yup, just the sort of thing I've been hoping for -- but they need a John Watson!

Sherlockology has a bunch more photos from different angles and in different poses.

I'll have to contest their "excellent likeness" claim  but still, this would look awfully cool next to my Luke Skywalker action figure.... :d

I do seriously think it's at least as good a likeness as the 12" figure that Big Chief is selling.  That's one reason I'm hoping they do a 5" John Watson (other than general principles) -- maybe this one would actually look like him!

oh my goodness.... that is seriously wonderful!

Previous merchandise of BBC Sherlock has seemed so bizarrely high end (translation: bloody expensive!!) but thsi si something (a) affordable and (b ) cute! Pocket money action figures for budding detectives-stroke-high functioning sociopaths everywhere :)

....and us that should know better!

and the other reason to have the two figures snogging each other's faces off having exciting detective adventures...?

Two figures?    What two figures?  Who said anything about getting a Sherlock?  :P

It's official, I am going berserk.

The 1/5 figurine has been in my cart for months since you guys posted about it. Like many of you say, it looks good and looks quite identical with the expensive 1/6.

Sooooooooo, I bought 3 of them. I want to dismantle one, keep one and give one to a friend who gave me a very nice hardcover new GoT book a while ago. He watches Sherlock, not obsessed but he collects figurines.

I also get the coloring books and not psychopath hoodie as a bait to lure out hidden fans from a dark, or cementing my weird reputation. :p

I maintain one thing: it's all your guy's fault.

What do you mean, going berserk? :d

I have always assumed that anyone who joins this forum is berserk already. It saves me a lot of time. :p

And I blame Moftiss.

My collecting, such as it is in a small way, has shifted now to unofficial items, like these decorative pillow covers:

And yes, I bought one of these....

Such is the state of my exhaustion that I looked at the watch and thought, "But where are the digits that tell the time?"

Uh oh.. I actually realised that it sounds funny after I posted but didn't change it (why? Err..human error?)

Dismantle merely means taking out the figurine out of the box and play with it XD. I buy extra to keep one intact because the postage is ex if I buy it later. Collectors do that (?), not that I know. I am merely obssesed. I got the idea from coloring book (to keep one and 'dismantle' other) as suggested here. See, it's really your fault.

Sorry the dismantling doesn't sound exciting, but I promise to try to ahem..see if his coat is detachable. :p

Sfmpco,

Nice pillow cases there!

I actually dismantled a Barbie doll's leg once, as in cut the thing open to see how it worked. It was one that I had used to gnaw on the foot so part of the ankle plastic was already popping out.

Okay, I have just purchased my 4th Sherlock Nerd Block Titan.  If they are cheap, I go after them.  I've already sent one off as a gift, and another will also go off as a gift.  One I will open, and one will remain pristine in its window box.  And now I have my eyes on a 5th one...

I just got this teacup and saucer as an early Christmas present. I think I like them too much to use them.

That is nice.

I wouldn't use them as well, mostly because euh.. I break everything.

Anyway, just today I received some of the things I order.

The coloring book is nice and good quality, it will probably take me years to finish it.

The polo shirt though, is giant size because the M is way way too big. The M hoodie is quite alright, although a bit big as well.

The ones I really waiting for, the figurines are not here yet and TAB, obviously.

This is not official merchandise, but good grief... for that money, I'd want a bona fide mantle to put it on.

For that money -- you get a used statue?  ;)  But seriously, where did this come from (other than Milan)?  I don't recall seeing them for sale new anywhere.
