Oh, I understand now.

Quoting this post mostly so I can look at that picture agaiin.  Isn't John lovely with, you know, his own hair?

Added:  Just noticed that the photo is from Series 1 or 2 (which aired 2010 or 2012).  Kinda odd that the convention would use it, since they didn't get going till, what, 2015?  Yup, looks like the copyright says 2015.  After Series 3, anyhow, so it wasn't a current picture even then.  But I'm not complaining!

[J.P.]

Oh, they have had plenty of pictures from all times. Some of them were made on set, but there were also some individual studio shootings of the characters and also many BTS and press photos of the crew.

Indeed!

Here's another version with different/regular lighting.  I kind of like the pinkish one though.

I agree.  It seems to be the same photo, just with different processing, but the one with the more natural lighting seems to accentuate the stronger light on John, making him look a bit washed out.  Wonder if there are any other versions that alleviate that effect without turning them an odd color.

[Artemis]

Yeah, I'd like to know.  I can't seem to find one.

Here's a different one that looks like it belongs to the same session.

I like how these two together make it appear as though you've just said something incredibly compelling, lol.

[J.P.]

To me those two first pix look just the same print that was scanned/photographed by different people and equipment.

[Artemis]

Yeah, I think the variations in lighting are probably just different people photoshopping the same photo with filters.

One of the best lines, lol.

I really like your Sherlock in the cab picture, Artemis.  Is it an original?  If so, then I REALLY like it!

[Artemis]

It is an original, but it's not mine.    I believe it was drawn by this person.

[Artemis]

This is kind of cool.
