So I went looking for the collective noun for rabbits, hoping for something cool like a murder of crows or an exaltation of larks. And the winner is:

A nest of rabbits.

I'm somewhat disappointed. But then, everyone's a critic.

:blanket: Is that giant rabbit or mini Collie??!?

Bluebell, most of our dogs were mongrels or mixed breeds, except one pure breed German Shepherd, she was the only one we bought back then. The rest we adopted from acquantainces, there was a time when we stayed in this not-dog friendly area and people kept bringing us stray dogs they rescued. We were not running any shelter or anything, but we had dogs, so maybe they thought we could take better care for the strays. Most of them couldn't keep the dogs themselves because of various reason, yet they bothered to pick them up from the road and found them a home, which I think is very great.

We had Doberman-mongrel breed, pom-poodle, some mixed-Collie, and a lot of other mixed mongrels. The current one is a shih-poo, I have to admit I hesitated a bit because I liked big dog but I don't regret a single thing because he is such an intelligent energetic little smartie and the size is very managable.

 poor doggy (video), haha....!

Caya, your rabbit on the pic looks like it would be Helga's size, or even bigger, like those who are called 'german giants'...(or one of Radagasts sledge bunnies, which are probably bigger though! :giggle:) Very cute picture!

Yes, I have seen pics like this in our rabbit forum, there are rabbits snuggling up to poodles or others like chihuahuas for example. But it must be really a great tolarance on both sides. I once had a friend bringing her Yorkie for a visit. Gandalf was cool about it, rather curious, cos he never met a dog before, but Helga constantly stomped her foot, she was pretty pissed and did not like the dog at all. The dog was just excited and wanted to play, but that was not really a good thing, Helga is not fond of dogs, even when they are smaller than her, haha...

VBS, your doggy is totally cute!  I know what you mean, I love big dogs better myself, but when there's a cute little one, I would love it, too!

What's his name?

That is indeed a Flemish Giant plus a Shetland Sheepdog. And yeah, most rabbits take some time getting used to dogs, but when they do, that sometimes unnerves the dogs. When we still had our bunny nest (thanks Arcadia!), a friend of ours stopped by one evening and he had his German Shorthair pointer with him. We went to sit outside since the gang was already in their outdoor hutch and that one was a rabbit fort anyway. When the bunnies saw Indy, the dog, through their plexiglass window, they basically shrugged and were like, "Ah, another one of those." Indy, meanwhile, was beside himself. He almost threw himself at the hutch, started barking, just couldn't get it why those weird rabbits didn't fear him like they were supposed to do .

Meanwhile, remember when we were talking about cats and their tendency to climb into boxes?

Today, me and my dad met up in a cat cafè. Totally cute! there were lots of cat items of course, and two lovely live cat hosts beside the human one whom the cafe belongs to!  Beverages were fair priced, it was clean, and it was a great atmosphere.

Is that a bunny or a puppy? A buppy?

I like buppy!

Agenda for tonight: lift those ears and say "hey buppy buppy buppy buppy 39times".

Since we had a lot of furry, let's go fishy this time.

Isn't really Nemo, isn't it? :) Looks like it's smiling. :D

I like fish, it's also my starsign.

No it's not nemo, it's small fish from blenny family, bluestriped fangblenny.

I think it smiles indeed, because it's a cheeky cheeky fish.

There are cleaning stations in ocean, fish need others to clean up their dead skin, and cleaner fish are up for this task. These cleaner have good reputation and trusted by their clients, it's mutual relationship. Clients trust cleaners to eat only parasites and dead tissues from the skin, cleaners trust clients not to eat them when they get close, they even get inside the mouth.

Then there are fangblennies. They have similar look and mimic the behaviour of cleaner fish. When the clients come for service, instead of cleaning, they steal bites of tasty fish flesh and quickly go and hide. Maybe that's why they are smiling that way. :)
