What a pest!! :d

That Black Sheep movie, is that a real thing? Good grief....

What do you mean? Like if it's a real movie? Of course, it's funny.  Like, funny when you find Peter Jacksons early works funny or so  ....

I've seen it, and I remember I gave the DVD to my cousin for his birthday.... XD

It's a while ago though, so it's a pretty old one - about ten years now as wikipedia says...

I just remembered it when seeing the litttle happy black sheep. :D

Yeah, that ad was so ... amateurish? ... I thought maybe it was a joke, not a real movie! But if it was meant to be funny, that makes more sense.

Actually, there are some actors who remind me of different kinds of dogs. Just recently for example - when I saw 'Mission Impossible-Rogue Nation' I always had a pug in mind, when I saw Jeremy Renner's face... :giggle:

speaking of pugs - a friend just mailed me this one :D

it says: "Look...a (Bunny = german 'Hase' & Pug = german 'Mops') Hops !" (its also a double word play, as in german you say 'hopsen', which means jumping or hopping...)

Fun fact about rabbits: they do eat their poop - well, parts of it, as it has minerals they need for digesting. Guinea pigs do too, btw.

Both cute, the puppy and the bunny!

Yeah, the pugbunny looks bit angry, haha....I recently bought a postcard with a very wrinkly bulldog in a pink bunny suit, and it says: "Oh no, not again!"....

Question for bunny expert, is it true that they needs a peaceful environment? I mean peaceful as no highly-charged emotionally negative atmosphere.

Yes, they should have peaceful environment, definitely. Stress makes them sick just like it does us sensitive human beings.

They are also more active at dusk and dawn, and they like sleeping over the day. Not like hamsters, who sleep almost all day long and are only really active at night, but they like their midday nap, and they usually sleep at night when I sleep. They are only earlier awake and active than I am in the morning. :coffee:

I don't care if they eat poop.

I want one!

Then go to your local animal shelter, adopt TWO (remember, they want company, and not only human...!) or more if you have the space...you learned already a bit about the rabbit keeping here, and I happily answer any questions :D

I would recommend you a couple of websites about it, too - unfortunately they are mostly in german....but I can look if there are translations. ;)

One important thing is to consider before - you have to be sure that they can stay for a very long time, since they can become about 10 years old...just like a dog or cat.

Actually that's why I wanted rabbits, I had rats and gerbils and all that before, but they only live like 3 years - when you're lucky. And it's sad to say goodbye so often. :(

I adopted a dog and have to rely on previous owner to take care of him when I travel, that's how they convinced me to adopt from them. So I don't think it's good idea for now.

In the future, of course! I'm not joking about having animal sanctuary one day... one day! I had many dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, birds and hamsters in the past, they are all very lovable. :) I just have to harden my heart first with many many layers of mucus of whatever, because the last time I lost a pet, hamster, I have enough waterworks for my garden and couldn't see properly for three days, not to mention the time I lost my dog.. gahhhhhhh! And I almost never cry all my life.

Bah.. let's see something cute, and it's been long day, my behind is shutting down. :p

Sweeeeeeet! Yes, I know what you mean, and it's definitely not always a good idea to have dogs AND rabbits (or other small animals for that matter). Most cats and dogs have the hunter instinct, even when you think they get along with the other animals. I know a couple of people who have like dogs, cats, rabbits etc together and they seem to live in peace, but I would never be sure about that, even if I trust them. That's why I wouldn't keep a cat or dog (or ferrets, which I adore as well!) along with my pets. It's just not right, even if I love them all.

What kind of dog do you have?

Oh yes, always so sad, no matter if it's a small or bigger pet who has to leave...they all belong with the family. :(

Here's a video by a guy who does guinea pig videos a lot on youtube, mostly they are funny, like this...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-ZMHtEC7rc

(the title says : are guinea pigs just stupid? the rest is understandable in any language, haha...the guinea pig and the carrot. :D)

Hope you all still have a happy easter time! :tulip:

Because of the summertime skip of one hour here in Germany, the dinner time has skipped as well. Usually my guinea pigs would make noise right now because it's close to 18.00h , which is usual time, but now it's dinner time at 19.00h :dinner:

And today there's Sherlock special time all over Germany :cowdance: , finally !

^ That.

I have dogs who happen to be from hunting and or herding types, bunnies will go insane here in a short time. I still remember their reaction to a kitten I found on a swampy area -_- A family friend have bunnies but we rarely visit there because of the distance. She put them in a pen on the backyard with hutch, grasses, artificial rocks and small bridge to hide from midday sun. I don't remember what they eat that time outside it is a green something with thick stalk.

Dunno, when our bunny group (herd? clutch? more than one rabbit, at any rate :P) had thinned down to one due to age (we'd decided not to replace them) we got an inside cage and took him there because we thought he'd get lonely all by himself in the garden and outdoor hutch. Well, Voodoo took to the inside life like a duck to water and lived to see his 12th birthday. We had a Rottweiler/German Shepherd halfbreed at the time, Diva, but if anyone suffered from that strange pet combo, it was her, not him . There was a certain spot on our couch in that place where you had a great view of the back yard through the panorama window, and the radiator was close by, so she loved it and we'd put her pillow there. Enter the rabbit, who would hop there determinedly, snuggle up to her, then start fussing around and moving so much till she got annoyed and left. Voodoo would then stretch out his whole majestic self (and he was small even for a dwarf rabbit, so that would amount to not much at all on the big dog pillow) and lounge there with a triumphant air about him :D.

I'm not saying that dog/rabbit is always a good idea, but it's not always a catastrophe either. Besides, with some race combinations it's more balanced in size anyway.
