Benedict Cumberbatch to present an Oscar

[Arcadia]

2 versions are attributed to Mike Blake of Reuters, but the Reuters website doesn't list them. However, there's a third version from a slightly different angle on the Corbis wire service, attributed to Herbert Boest, so much to my amazement I'm inclined to think it's real... http://www.corbisimages.com/stock-photo/rights-managed/42-56424652/86th-academy-awards?popup=1

I have a feeling some clever people will put Bendict's photobombing body in a number of different pictures!!!

[besleybean]

They have!

Not surprising.

[besleybean]

Bless his heart.

[Ruthyone]

Here's Benedict on the moon!!!                                     Here's Benedict sneaking into the selfie!!!

[Caya]

There's a video of the photobombing:

[Arcadia]

This is just the best thing all day.

[Caya]

Yeah, you can even see the moment the idea strikes him, I think .

[Undead Medic]

That should silence all those who were crying "Photoshop!!!"

[Carol the Dabbler]

Wonder how long it'll be before Videoshop is available?

[Undead Medic]

Video can be manipulated, but it's trickier to get it looking natural than still shots.

[besleybean]

Literally the best thing I have ever seen on the internet!

[mangopony]

Has anyone found any video of Benedict presenting the award at the Oscars? I've not seen it

Apparently he was a proper gentleman and offered Jennifer Garner his arm as they walked on stage - aww!

[Caya]

I'm sure Geny has one on her blog somewhere *goes digging*.

Meanwhile, have a photo or two from there.

[mangopony]

Aww, thank you!

[Caya]
