Oh, dear. I think we need something more cheerful. I know I do.

Watch this. So lovely! (My favorite part might just be 1:49 :naughty: I can't stop replaying that bit!)

Made me feel all warm & cuddly. Thanks SJ!

Now back to killing off main characters :o

I'm absolutely not convinced, either, that anyone will die. Except maybe the villain, and even that is questionable. Eventually the villain probably dies. I wouldn't venture a guess about Mary's fate in the long run, but I think she is there for at least a few more episodes. Why else would anyone make her such a complex character in His Last Vow, if they don't intend to explore her further? But who knows with Mofftiss?

Logically speaking, you're absolutely right.  But I have the uneasy feeling that "Last Vow" was more about shock value than character development.  I hope I'm proven to be very wrong about that.

Yes, that's entirely possible, and I fear that too. However, that doesn't mean they can't do something with her complex character from now on - never mind the original intention. They should do something; I just hope she won't take up her old "job" again and have Sherlock and John be completely okay with that. That's another thing I fear, especially if Moffat and Gatiss are, as they say, taking the show somewhere darker than ever.

Oh yes! Shock me, give more DARKNESS!

Imagine lightning flowing into my hands from the sky, it's thundering, my hair is standing straight atop my head.

Mwah ha ha ha ha ha.

Goddess complex....hhhmmmm....Jess?

I was thinking more of the stereotypical Dr. Frankenstein right around the time of his creature coming alive.  Some sort of evil genius type.

Do elves have bad days? Or is it all just some sort of twilight continuum..... XD

Have the Empty Hearse rally up the Sherlockians for some reason (maybe Sherlock gets framed for a crime again), and then all hell breaks loose as the fans descend on Scotland Yard like a stampede of Black Friday shoppers. People get hurt. Lestrade gets shot down in the crossfire. And maybe they don't kill him but they debilitate him in some way -- he gets some disability, like a limp, or maybe he loses the sight in one eye, something like that.

I was actually thinking of Galadrial on a bad day....but then.....

Oh yes, I see how you made that parallel, Fox! That was really a dark moment, when Galadriel was just about to take the ring, and then went all dark and terrifying. Love that moment, though. Phew! Really gave me gooseflesh.

Yup, you don't wanna mess with Galadriel.

Okay, you stop messin' with Lestrade, and I won't utter another peep about LOTR. Except one; how can you NOT have seen it already?????????? Go rent the thing, NOW!

Galadriel with the ring would be scary especially with how they did her voice.  It could work.  Several months ago I had my son take a picture of me with my iPhone.  I edited it (don't remember the app) & it reminds me of a variation of Lady Galadriel during that scene in Lothlorien.

my hair is normally a color close to red (winter) wheat (a great combination of blond, medium red, & the occasional auburn strand, thanks to the iron content in Minnesota's water supply).  It almost has a dark sandy color depending on the lighting.

Yes Dr. Frankenstein evil genius is actually what I was thinking! Mwah ha ha ha ha... with a mix of Cruela Devile.

I love that idea, that would sadden me, bring some tears to the eyes. Yes Bendy, brilliant!

Ahem! To put a not to delicate spin on it Galadrial is a "cough coughfemalecoughcough"

That is true & even us women can be a little crazy like Frankenstein or scary looking like Galadriel in Lothlorien.

I've never even heard of Galadrial.

Galadriel's a female elf from Lord of the Rings and lives in a region of Middle Earth called Lothlorien.  She is more our less the leader of the elves in Lothlorien. The scene my picture alludes to is in the first film, Fellowship of the Ring.

Sorry not a fan of fantasy movies, tried to watch Lord of the Rings... Just wasn't working. Fell asleep during one of the Harry Potters.

Oh, Jess, we have to do something about that. Don't worry, I'm not suggesting you read the Lord of the Rings books or watch the 9-plus-hours film version, but do at least have a look at her:

Isn't she beautiful? Come on, isn't she?

I adored Cate Blancett as an elf. And her voice is lovely, too.

Oh dear, now I want to watch Lord of the Rings and cry...
