Thank you. I had the English version figured out once a couple if weeks ago and could not remember it for the life of me.

Does anyone else come on here, start a post, then find themselves sitting there watching snowflakes instead? And has anyone else noticed that some of the snowflakes are pure white while others are faintly blue? And the bigger they are the faster they fall. And every once in awhile on the right hand side there's a squashed one.......

The snowflakes on the forum are fabulous.  I find myself missing them when I'm on other sites now.

The more I watch this show, the more I could sit around for two years and dissect lines and all the many meanings behind them.

Well, if you find the snowflakes distracting in an annoying way, you could scroll down to the bottom of the page and switch to the IP.Board theme.  No snowflakes there, not yet anyhow.  We eventually got them last year, though -- hint, hint.

Of course, you could also switch to the Deviant 3 (No Snow) theme as Tim mentioned.

I think this certainly proves that we are all Season 3 Anderson.

Waiting for my computer to wake up from the screen saver and it is liking this months Sherlockology desktop calendar. My response to my computer "great it had to freeze on Mr. Creepy and the cute guys". (Yes my inner teenager/college girl came out at least in my head ["it later transpired that I said none of this out loud"] :)

So I took my son to watch a stage version of the Grinch. The guy who played Grinch has a face that reminded my of Alan Rickman even though it was obviously not him (slightly higher voice with a distinctive American accent).

But does Rickman do accents?  And/or voices?  Coulda been him!  :P

Alan's American accent isn't upper Midwest.  He can do a Texan/southern accent from what I've heard.  And the actor from Grinch was more of a double take look alike with similar but different facial features.  They could pass as relatives.

So what are the chances that I get approximately 90 posts (not including the games area) in on here before the end of the year my time?

May have to keep tabs on that later today as now I must be off to sleep.

You've averaged about 13 posts per day since joining in mid-September.  So I'd say the odds are pretty slim unless you intentionally go for it!

Without knowing my average, I was inclined to agree.  I had figured possibly by the end of the week initially, but I'm making a dent so far this morning.

let's see: 27 minutes and 73 posts to go.  Think  I'll try to get it done before the week ends.  But we'll see how close I get before the new year starts in the middle part of the US.

Nothing like internet dropping as you are tryin to look something up in 1 browser while replying on here in a different 1. And then your text messages to your sister to reset everything has to be sent as a text message instead of an iMessage.

So I'm watching the Mythbusters marathon on Science channel.  The myth this hour that Adam and Jamie are doing is from Morten Tyldum's Head Hunters.  Apparently there was a major crash scene in that movie.

And the build team had Rossini's Overture for Thieving Magpies playing during the 2nd part of their testing.  First thing to come to mind: Moriarty dancing with the fire extinguisher.

My random question: how would Sherlock & Uncle Si (US show Duck Dynasty) get along?

1) Sherlock goes from the semi-permanent mute he has on Mrs. Hudson to full mute for Si.

2) Sherlock has some sort of comment that is the equivalent of telling Si he lowers the IQ of the whole street.

Your thoughts?

I want to know more about Sherlock's Uncle Rudy.

Apparently I know nothing whatsoever about him.  Sherlock has an Uncle Rudy?

Oh, you know, good ol' cross-dressing Uncle Rudy! Life of the party! :D

From HLV, when Mycroft confronts Sherlock on the stairs after the drug den: "The siren call of old habits. How very like Uncle Rudy – though, in many ways, cross-dressing would have been a wiser path for you."
