It's cold in Minnesota.

That thing reminds me of a Thin Mint cookie turned into one of Sherlock's science experiments. Is it a gold coated Rice Krispie treat?

Posted

Nope, nothing quite that precious!

Melted gold colored plastic?

No-Pe.

Flower shaped mold growth?

Posted

:lol5: No, but it's a great answer. However, you're getting colder....

Would it have been considered edible at all?

Posted

Ah, now you are back on the right track. No, not at all.

Posted

Is it plastic?

Posted

Nope. Nor is it metallic gold in color, although I can see why you might think that.

Posted

It is reminding me of something made out of lead with a touch of bronze for good measure.

Noop!

Is it some sort of metal item?

Posted

Aha, good question. No, it is not.

Posted

Is it something made out of some sort of dough such as homemade play dough for making as ornament or similar?

Posted

Oh, you are much warmer now! But nope, not quite. But similar.

Polymer clay flower shape?

Getting warmer.....

Posted

Is it regular clay then?

Posted

Yes!

Okay ... now that we know what it's made of ... what is it? What's its function? Here's another version of the picture .... oh, look, it has a friend! XD

My thoughts: trivet, decorative patio stone, or wall art.

Amazing octopus, Camper.

I thought they cover some kind of playground slides, but construct it from scratch! Wow..! Should recommend Holmes brothers to do that every Christmas too.

For the.. clay, it's not metallic gold in color. Oh no! Is it visual trick like the gold-white/blue-black dress???

I am guessing you are using cookie cutter for the shape.

So what could be it, made from clay, for that size? I believe Camper is right, it's some kind of decorations.

Could be pasted on wall, accent for floor pattern, hanging from ceiling, or tree.

Or ... they look great as weapons for irritating people but you don't want to feel too bad throwing them, so you took effort to make them look good. :)

Decorative, yes, but think smaller.

What's holding them up?

Now I'm think broaches or earrings.

Ooooh, good, very very close! Jewelry, yes, but not in the ears or on lapels.
