Sitty, what kind of vinyl are these -- hard or squishy?

They typically resemble that of hard plastic. I currently own a keychain tenth doctor and the aforementioned substance is what I feel this vinyl could be likened to.

Ditto greencat.  They're not squishy at all.  The heads turn, but that's the only movable piece on them

Where can one typically find a good assortment of these figures -- online? toy stores? Walmart?

I've honestly never seen them in stores around here.  I purchased my X-Files ones online and plan to do the same for Sherlock.

Do you have a Hot Topic where you live? That's typically where I see them and where I'd predict the Sherlock ones to be at. Also, Barnes and Noble sells a few, but I have only seen Game of Thrones and/or Avengers figures. You could also look online and see if they have an official website. As a last ditch effort, Amazon, Ebay and the like might have them but most likely waaay after the release date.

Son of a gun -- yes, there's a Hot Topic only about a forty-five minute drive from here.  Guess I've never been looking for one before!

Thanks!

Thanks!  They seem to have stores all over the US (including Alaska and Puerto Rico), plus a few in Canada.

Now I just need to remember to check the local Hot Topic in October, when the Funko Sherlock figures are scheduled for release.

To be honest, I probably wont have this problem. I always have to make a stop in  said store every time I go to the mall; even if I know the inventory hasn't had a chance to rotate :P

Trouble is, even though I go past that mall about once a week, I rarely have any reason to stop by.  But I should be able to remember for just a couple of months.

Okay, this is not exactly a Sherlock article or summary... it is a 5" action figurine...

That's more like it -- an actual action figure in a manageable size (at a manageable price)!

Now -- where's John???!

I don't know, I'm not sure that's actually Westwood.....

That photo shows a lot more detail than the one they posted a year ago July.  I think Moriarty may be their best likeness yet.  For those who are interested in buying, you can sign up (at the link sfmpco posted)) to be notified when they're ready to accept pre-orders.

Has anyone here actually bought and received any of these figures?

I finally just sent Funko a message and asked where the Molly Hooper Funko Pop is.

One of the local bookstores has been selling some dolls from the "Little Thinker" series, and tonight I saw this one:

They claim it's Van Gogh, but am I the only one who thinks it looks amazingly like a certain creator/writer/actor during his facially-hirsute phases?

Oh, and they also have a Sherlock Holmes doll:

I will confess I did not buy the Sherlock Funko Pops. I'm still too bitter betty about the lack of Molly Hooper.
