See to me they have to develope the characters quite quickly... It is 2-3 years betwixt each series... You can literally see how much they've physically aged in each series. They have to mature each character by 2/3 years, every single series. Are you the same person after 6 years? If so you are truly one of a kind.

Myers-Briggs personality types -- and quiz
jesskayding replied to Arcadia's topic in Miscellaneous Musings
I do don't I? You're so onto me Carol. I've seemed to depress people with the talk of killing off a main character. I personally find the whole idea to be fun. Like writing a part in the script that would shock the tar out of viewers & make them gasp or cry or nearly go into a panic attack. I myself like to be made to cry, to experience sadness while watching a drama. I think its good for the soul. -
Sherlock's relationship with women
jesskayding replied to cumberholmes's topic in BBC Sherlock General Discussion.
I'd prefer him to remain single as well. I do like the idea of him being absolutely careless with women's hearts & using them to get whatever he needs for a case. He'd be a very, very bad boy in need of recreational scolding. -
I'm still waiting to be confused.

It was the H wasn't it! HOOCHIE Momma! For those who don't know, I'm a sore loser. But Hoochie Mamma is taken from a Seinfeld show entitled ' Serenity Now '.

I mean it is obvious that there should be a Sherlock comic book series. He is the less wealthy, carless, Batman of London.

What would you like to see in series 4?
jesskayding replied to T.o.b.y's topic in Special and Series 4
Although I'm sure she wouldn't do any of those things to her own baby. Ok then it's still born. Naaaaah, I say name it Rachel. -
Uhm, and I hate to burst everyone's bubble , but there is an article floating around on this forum somewhere, where they are planning on Janine being in season 4, They're not sure about Irene Adler.

Yes, I'm serious. For me, Janine was, like Sherlock said, "a grasping, opportunistic, publicity-hungry tabloid whore." Definitely not in Sherlock's league. And I personally like her even less than you like Molly. I used to think the same thing, but somehow, Janine has wormed her way into my heart the same way as the other Sherlock characters did, and I can't find it in there to say I dislike her now. Not that I necessarily want to see her appear again, and I definitely do not think she should become Sherlock's girl friend for real. But I don't know, she's got something. Of course she doesn't compare to Molly. Speaking in flowers, Molly is a wild rose while Janine is a peony (and I guess I'd call Irene a lily). Tastes vary, I guess, but for the record, I like the way Molly looks and dresses very much. I don't think Sherlock is attracted to her physically at all, she doesn't seem to be his type. But that doesn't mean she isn't pretty! Jess, what is it with you and Molly, by the way? You really seem to object pretty strongly to her... I object strongly to her & Sherlock being a couple. And yes, I'm sorry, she annoys the tar out of me. I could see if she had some insecurities, everyone does. But that woman is so weak, too weak. Ooooo she slapped Sherlock a few times. Actually when he was found in the drug den, I felt like the slapping was over the top. Is it really that acceptable for women to go around hitting men like that? I don't know, I really could do without her character in the show. I find her absolutely unnecessary... Sorry everyone who finds her so endearing. Every time she comes on the scene my eyes roll & I let out a hard quick strong disappointed sigh.

True. But I'm trying desperately NOT to think of Sherlock as a super-hero story. I will go so far as to admit that it often has that sorta feel to it, but so far they seem to have kept everything fairly plausible -- no physical super-powers. Uh... What about that mind palace thing, & bolt holes & his homeless network, really? Not to mention in nearly every episode he's on a rooftop or ledge with his coat collar turned up & hair blowing in the wind. Carol you're just so so sweet. Good grief, what are you two, twelve? :D Uh no. I think you might be though Fox & I made very good points thank you.

Yes, welcome June! Happy postings!

Seeeeee. That's what I mean. He admires people like Janine. People who contribute to the excitement in his life on their own with no help from him. They have less than moral personalities.

I misbehave -
I'd say risking your life by rescuring a woman from Turkish terrorists & having sentiment for only her by keeping her phone, oh & loosing his appetite when he thought she was dead could be seen as madly in love. Men have said how desperately in love they are with someone upon sending them flowers and a nice dinner... I know how to solve Molly's uncontrollable desire for Sherlock. Kill her off, then she feels no more pain. Simple as that. Problem solved.
