  1. That's like the best commercial I've ever seen! I love that he returned the Woody Cowboy doll to that kid, you cant get more real life ' Toy Story ' than that!
  2. fangs
  3. Well, in order not to be detected you buy the appropriate materials & make the ninja suit yourself. That was part of the introduction, before teaching you to scale the wall. Thank goodness I have a few sewing lessons under my belt. Grant that it was on how to sew pillows. Hmmmm yeah I may have to print out some patterns. You wouldn't believe it, but this is like a university sized class of two hundred and twenty one wanna be assassins!
  4. Uh, yeah... So far you win! That's some serious obsession right there. Gwendolyn maybe.. yeah Gwen, that would make a good baby name. Bring the old back in with the new, yes?
  5. Awwwwww Carol, you're so sweet. The writers have proven not to share the same level of sweet tooth that you have. But I suppose it would be ok if they don't kill anyone off. I would still be thoroughly delighted if they killed off a main character, however sad it would make me.
  6. You know now that I think about it this could possibly make a good RP thing. Hmmm I wonder how I could make that happen.
  7. Ok, so I've got a hold of an AK47 from one of my gansta friends, they led me to this underground assassin camp right here in Montgomery county. The very first thing they teach you is how to scale a 60 foot building with no ledges.
  8. 1.) Molly would be the least devastating because I feel her role on the show is replaceable ( Sherlock has John to keep him balanced ). Would love the new lab person to have a more dangerous personality. 2.) My heart would break if Mycroft died. I love him, I feel that the sibling rivalry between he & Sherlock just cheers me up. I especially love when they gang deduct on John.
  9. So choose two Main Characters to Die in Season 4: Sherlock & John are excluded from execution for obvious reasons. 1.) Least Devastating 2.) Would absolutely break your heart For both Why?
  10. Mycroft! You know, I'd really cry. I think that would make me dizzy. Ooooo good one Toby. Like I said it wouldn't bother me one bit if they killed off Molly, but Lestrade would be really hard to take & so would Mrs. Hudson. I would shout for joy if Donovan dies... I would be ok with Mary kicking the bucket & I wouldn't be bothered if Mary miscarried or something. ( Fictional show people, I'd be devastated about a real life miscarriage.)
  11. So you'd rather people pretended to be interested in your hobbies than be honest with you? Now, that's an interesting taste in relationships... I love coffee too, but I'm definitely not a connoisseur. I drink any old brew I can get, as long as there's a dash of milk in it and it has real caffeine. I love grinding my own beans, though, because it makes the kitchen smell so good in the mornings. I am sorry your date didn't happen, but maybe it was for the best, and I'm sure you'll have other, better opportunities. Unfortunately, I am the last person in the world who could give anybody dating advice. I honestly never dated. I pined after people who wanted nothing to do with me, until someone came along who did, and we became friends, and then lovers, and then got married. End of story. Well isn't that nice. What I need to do is hang out @ mí favorite coffee shop & maybe I'll make a friend too hey?
  12. And I'm saying this here & now.. If Sherlock & Molly end up in a serious relationship, uhm yes I would stop watching. I would completely hate that. I feel it wouldn't fit Sherlock @ all.
  13. I said exactly why I would stop watching. I implore you to read my post in it's entirety & you will see has nothing to do with gay bashing. I was really detailed & even mentioned had no problem with gay relationships on television. Also posted another comment about how the writers would really need to explain or pretty rewrite the entire show. I was detailed about that as well. I am not into politics when it comes to entertainment.Certainly I wouldn't expect the people on this forum to be homophobic. I would be disappointed if my expectations were proved wrong. I did read your post, and the other comments regarding the unacceptability of Johnlock becoming part of the show, and it does sadden me that anyone feels they would stop watching if it featured a gay relationship between John and Sherlock. Sometimes I feel we haven't made as much progress over the years as we like to imagine, when same-sex relationships are still regarded as more controversial than heterosexual ones, in mainstream culture. There is absolutely no reason why a show that starts with a friendship between two apparently straight men cannot develop that relationship into a romance, without any need to apologise, explain, re-write or whatever. (Incidentally, I don't think Sherlock does appear to be particularly straight, but that's just my opinion.). One of the strengths of fiction is that it can be full of twists and turns and it can take us anywhere. If it is well done, it can surprise us and yet seem right, and not out of character. Several people have said they object to sexuality being introduced into stories which do not originally contain it. In my opinion, it is such a significant part of people's lives that it would seem strange to wholly exclude it. That doesn't mean that the storylines have to be explicit. After all, we don't see any sexual activity between John and Mary - not even much kissing - but I think we can safely assume they are intimate with one another. I would be extremely surprised (to put it mildly!) if the show ever included explicit sexual behaviour between John and Sherlock. In the unlikely event of Johnlock becoming canon, the relationship between the two men needn't be any more graphic than the love between Mary and John. I know that people will say that their main objection would be to the sexualisation of a platonic friendship. Maybe it wouldn't be to everyone's taste - storylines do go off at angles which we don't always like. (John forgiving Mary for harming Sherlock....need I say more? Still grinding my teeth over that one!). But, to be frank, I don't think people would be reacting so strongly if we were talking about a straight relationship. If Sherlock became seriously involved with Janine or Molly or Irene, lots of viewers wouldn't like it because it interferes with their view of him as an asexual loner ( or, as far as we Johnlockers are concerned, a gay man in love with someone else) but how many people would stop watching? Really? If Sherlock Holmes in Elementary started sleeping with Joan Watson, a lot of people might say " Hey, Sherlock wouldn't do that" ( though it's made clear that this version of Holmes is sexually active) but would people turn off their tvs? Would the gut reaction against the relationship be so strong? To be honest, I doubt it. And just so all can be clear... I would be just as upset if friends on a television show, started off gay then decided to be straight. The story then becomes about the sexuality of the characters & takes from the story. Also I believed I "liked" a post of Carol's, where she commented on the inappropriateness of speculating on heterosexual relationships as well. I love Sherlock because of the Drama & the platonic friendship of John & Sherlock, doing that drastically changes & in my opinion ruins my show. I've also expressed complete disgust with the idea of putting Sherlock & Molly together.
  14. I guess I'm a tough girl to please. I guess in all the years I've been coffee expert, co workers & friends would @ least amuse me & pretend they enjoyed d trying a French press or a pour over or a black coffee drinking demonstration. I've converted a few along the way. I don't handle rejection well. ^_^
  15. Coffin
  16. Well, maybe I could have given him a chance, but I canceled. I just wasn't looking forward to the date anymore. I can be really sensitive. O please?
  17. Arcadia, I did just that. I went with my gut.
  18. I'm not a masochist. I feel the darkness & unexpectedness of the show is what makes it unique. I want to feel super heightened emotions. Non delightful emotions. I want anything but nice & quiet. Yes bring on the suspence & intellect. Bring on the death of a main character... It needs to happen, not one we hate/despise or annoy us. But someone dear to us, like Mrs. Hudson, Lestrade, or for some of us Molly (that for me wouldn't be so devastating.) And something else really tragic would be nice.
  19. That would be a lovely prize. Maybe they didn't open it up to other countries upon witnessing Mardi Gras. Can't risk the Cumberbatch getting flashed.
  20. I don't think I would of thought twice about that.
