I'll take that bet. Ding, ding, ding! Ladies, next round! *grabs a bag of popcorn and gets cozy*

How about winner of the bet gets to donate her money to the charity of her choice? And the fight would remain a verbal sparring match. Think of it as a proper debate among gentlemen only it will be ladies instead.

I don't fight and I don't approve of gambling!

Spoilsport. :P

That is possibly the most sane, rational, reasonable, sensible, humane attempt at compromise I have heard in a decade.

Are you from this planet? :P

Maybe, possibly, not necessarily, sometimes no, depends on the day, probably not, especially based on how some people would respond to some of my perceived outdated views.

So I start my morning peacefully wanting to look at cute puppy....

Whattt???

Sigh...

Okay then, anything for the hiatus and keep the moderators happy.

*Straighten cloth, cracking knuckle.* Let's do this.

Thanks Carol.

Arcadia, you are next.

Come on, Bean. Let's get this over and done with.

Whatt.. you are not fighting?

Spoilsport! :p

So Arcadia, you are up next..!

Whuattt?? How else should I pay my bills . quit my job? . buy Sherlock's stuff?.. fine. Fine! Doggy charity then.

Whatttt?? Weren't recent debates traumatizing enough?

And who says cat doesn't do sucking up?

The most recent debates were far from gentlemenly. I had more gentlemen style debates in high school and we barely knew what we were doing.

And I know a cat that will gladly brown nose. He loves snuggling, cuddling and being petted almost every Tuesday and Thursday. He's got me wrapped around his rat like tail (accurate description as he's a sphinx cat).

Okay, that does it. Prepare yourself, Van Buren. *picks up biggest bat*

Such a nasty cat. No stamina. Wouldn't be my first choice.

Oh cats are total mercenaries...they go anywhere and to anyone who will feed them.

Eh.. you are not helping your own case here. :D

If I remember correctly, sphinx cat actually needs those (whether they want it's another case), something about their lack of protection to elements.

Okay, that does it. Prepare yourself, Van Buren. *picks up biggest bat*

Hey, I thought we are fighting barehanded. I left my brass knuckles at home.

Fine!

Let me check my stationery cupboard. Hmm.. what I have.. what I have..hmm..

Bazooka.. nope, too easy.. too easy..

Crossbow.. boring

Toilet plunger.. not classy..

Hey, hey, hey.. look what I've found..

A string of stinking shoes! Various style,.from Andrew Scott's to Victorian style..mahahha.. you are so dead!

Let me do some warming up.

Oh, the bat's "just in case". You know, just like John's gun.....

Okay, round 1: proof that cats adore their humans more than dogs do.

Cats will finish your crossword puzzles for you.

Dogs just eat the pencil.

Eh.. whatever happen to the shoe and barehand? I didn't bring them only for 'just in case' :p.

Fine!

I'll do it your way, so you don't have excuse that I have any advantage whatsoever. :)

Round 1

Btw, you forgot that the fight is not about whether cats or dogs adore their human more. :D (where is that come from? what is the matter with you this evening?:sherlock2:) XD

It's about honesty and sucking up.

So thank you for making my case. Heh heh

Cat is trying to suck up by doing your crossword. (And rob the Sunday fun btw. Tsk.. cats :p)

Dog is being honest. Dog is hungry. Dog eats pencil.

Round 2:

axbo81.jpg

Cat like sucking up by rubbing random stranger's leg.

20s9jco.jpg

Dog is honest: Hey, pal. I had checked it twice and more. Your butt really stinks.

When a human does that, it's called "knowing which side one's bread is buttered on," and is generally equated to intelligence (or at least common sense).

Okay, Van Buren, that cat is not sucking up, it's trying to warn its beloved human that he's about to step in a cow patty. The dog is just being gross. Ie, a dog.

Round 3: (and I'll confess I've never been quite sure what the argument actually is about, but honesty vs. sucking up, sure, why not....)

Cats are honest.

Dogs are just trying to escape punishment.

Cats, of course, are honest and would never plot against their owners.

Sorry I have been away, so I am here to collect my winning prize.... eh! Still on?? :axe:

Okay let me prolong my waking hour now so I am not tempted to come here at work tomorrow (fat chance/slim chance/curvybutilikeit chance)

Round 4:

2hi5pie.jpg

Dishonest knock-upper

Honestly tired parent

Bonus point for honest dog :)

I can safely state that the cat is NOT the kitten's father.

Mother, quite possibly.

(Virtually all calicos are female, and the rare males are sterile.)

Hey, no fair, I'm being double-teamed now! Besleybean, get in here and help me out! You started this anyway... :P

I assume that last one of Caya's is the livestock that they refused to give a cash refund for. I admit, it does seem a bit defective.

Round five. What dogs really think of their humans ...

At least a cat will leave you with your dignity intact...

I can't see your images.

Funny.. your other posts are fine.

I think it's selective Imgur again or my eyes have been trying to deceive me. I've bullied them too much.

Okay, okay! I'll try again tomorrow. Gah, works, lot of works! If I can. Laterz.

P.S. Or it would be easier if you just concede. :p
