The thing with BC's schedule is that we only know about the BIG projects.  We don't know how many commercials, voice-overs, narrations, personal appearances, etc., that he has on his docket.  And it gets horrific during awards season.

Not neccessarily a fan of TH, but he looks so... fitting in that photo. Like he would make a good Mycroft, or good Jim, or good CAM...

I will say, if there was much hope (and I don't think there was) of Hiddleston playing a 3rd brother, I think this would have been the year for filming.  TH has two movies coming out in 2017 (3rd Thor movie and Kong), so I'm guessing much of 2016 will be filming for those.

I have been thinking about this for a while. What if the third Holmes sibling was just normal. When Mycroft says "we both thought you were stupid", what if he did mean the other sibling. As a normal person you may find that Sherlock's complete lack of social skills and lack of common sense com off as "stupid". Also it could have been a jealousy thing, especially if they were the oldest/older sibling.I personally think a sister would be a better idea, because three Holmes boys running around is just to much. IMMHO.

These two have known each other at least since both were in THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL, although Eddie's part was much more substantial.

If they do anything with the "you know what happened to the other one" idea, you can be darn sure it will be kept the most top secret thing of S4.
