Regarding the previous post:  Note that Quinn is "an audio erotica series" for "age 18 or older."  They state that it's "created by women" (some reviewers think it's primarily aimed at young women), so it's presumably more like a "romance novel" than hard-core porn.

It used to be limited to the US, but that's apparently no longer the case.

There's both an online platform and a mobile app.

After a one-week free trial, they charge for the stories, varying amounts depending on whether you want a one-time listen or one of their assorted subscription deals.  They state that they reserve the right to change their prices, BUT (unlike certain other online services!!!) "Any change will only become effective only after the expiration of your current Subscription period and after we provide you with notice of such change no fewer than fifteen (15) days before the end of the then-current Period."

This information is from online sources.  I have no personal experience with the service, so cannot actually endorse it.

Interesting premise -- he's playing a now-deceased real-life actor, playing Hamlet.

Wow i am making the most of posting, now i can actually access here!

I am on caring duty at Mum's, with only my phone and no wifi...sometimes i can just not open this forum.

1. I am seeing Andrew in Pressure, on Wednesday.

2. I then hope to get tickets for Elsinore.

Yes, Ian Charleson was dying of AIDS, when he famously took over the Hamlet lead- after Daniel D-L had his mental collapse, walked off stage, out of the theatre...never to tread the boards again.

Andrew is tipped for an Oscar and that will be him bagging the lot: Bafta... and is it Emmy?

The Emmy is for television, while the Oscar is for movies.  So only the latter.  He could be eligible for a Golden Globe, though, if those cover both.

Yes i meant to Google before i came back on here...because of course i have no idea how to split screen a phone! But anyhow...haven't googled. If i was in anyway techy, i could have found the news story and shared it to the forum.

So if anyone knows what the big 3 are...apparently Andrew already has two of them.

He has BAFTA for Sherlock, a stage award for...oh heck my brain has died. I saw it, cannot remember the name of the play.

So i think the story was saying that by 50, he would be the 1st gay man to have scored all 3.

I think they were saying no gay man has won that Oscar, is that right?

Incidentally, case in point...i cannot open Speedy's cafe.

Weird, thought I already replied to this question.  Maybe I didn't click "Submit"?

Anyhow, no, Oscars are for movies and Emmys are for TV -- so you can't get both for the same production.  ADDED:  I may have misunderstood your question, though.

Do Golden Globes cover both media, though?  If so, he might get one of those.   :applause:

And it's a regular chat room today -- three of us online at once!

Been there myself, more or less, though I had my laptop and no wifi, so I used Mom's landline and my old dial-up account at night when I figured no one would be trying to call us.  My brother (who was handling Mom's financial affairs) finally had wi-fi installed, so I could use either my laptop or my phone, and a lot more easily -- but as with you, some things still just didn't want to work for me.
