Well, I can tell you what it's NOT.

-It's not a press, nor a printing press.
-Not for turning paper or other material into something.
-Not for crushing boxes.
-Not a particle accelerator.
-Not heated or cooled.
-Not a loom.
-Not high tech.
-The products are not plastic, edible, drinkable, cellophane, glass, tinfoil, egg crate foam, nylon, wallpaper, clay or green glop.

"Technically" ...

-not for making clothing or cloth, but there's something about cloth that produced a suspicious answer.

It could come in sheets ... too. But mostly ...

-not.

What it IS...
It's traditional. A traditional item being made by a modern machine.

Additional right clue by J.P; pattern.

And I'd categorize loom as 'suspicious', technically it's not a loom, but it's right direction.

Not that magnificent carpet, or acrylic/plexiglass.

Hmm.. another clue, we've seen this product being used in Sherlock series before.

Bahahahhahahha.

It could be anything, but putting other right clues together, it's a very solid clue imo, I'm shooting myself in the foot with that clue.

Putting this here so we don't have to flip back 2+ pages.

So, what is this?

Is it for making furniture or the covering of the furniture such as Sherlock's sofa?

Or how about makes the windows we see in Sherlock?

Posted

Not furniture or covering of furniture like his sofa, at least I don't remember seeing that in Sherlock.

Not window as well.

Posted

It makes me think wallpaper even though I thought that was already ruled out.

Posted

Technically no. But right direction.

This product dowsn't have specific purpose...

Tada...

Posted

Is it for finishing wood that can then be used for various things?

Posted

Is the stuff this factory is making then used by other people to make something else?

Posted

@Camper not for finishing wood.

@Arcadia Maybe not to make, more like the product is used as part or complimentary to something else.

Posted

How about something related to a door such as the knobs or knocker?

Posted

But it doesn't have a specific purpose....

Posted

The purpose is as part or complimentary to something else.

Not knobs or knockers. Remember to connect it to correct clues and suspicious clues.

Posted

I would guess something like decals, except those definitely come in sheets ....

Okay, that stuff we see behind the clear panels, is that part of the product, or part of the machine?

And where is this "pattern" that JP keeps referring to? I don't see anything like that!

I have a feeling I'm wandering in the wilderness....

Can we get a list of correct & suspicious clues please? Thanks

Curtains?

Printing patterns on them?

Technically no. But right direction.

Yep those are the clues.

Not decal.

And glass panels? Which? Hmmmmm.. I don't think I see any. You could be looking at something else.

Pattern is very important factor for this product.

Think! :cowdance:

Is it for making wedding veils for a bride?

We've seen those in Sherlock. It's traditional and I guess it complements a wedding gown without a having a 'specific purpose' of its own.

Also, you said something about shooting yourself in the foot.

Spoiler for TAB :

Ricoletti, who had a veil on, faked her death by shooting at the floor next to her feet
