Good direction.

Giant loom is way closer than particle accelerator.

The book hanging from a string on the pole in the foreground has a cartoon of some kind drawn on it. Does that have anything to do with it?

Posted

No, it doesn't. Also, the cardboards you mentioned earlier shouldn't be there in normal operation.

Posted

:wtf: Normal operation? You mean it's not operating normally in this picture? What the frickety-frack......

Is something liquid involved in the making of ... whatever is being made?

Posted

Is it for making cloth used to make clothing?

Posted

No, I mean that cardboard don‘t have any signifcant purposes or meaning.

There is no liquid involved, and technically not for making clothing.

Is it used to make cloth at all?

How about the starting point for a rug or carpet.

Is it used to make cloth at all?

For yes or no answer, I'd say no.

?!???!!!!!!!?!?!!!!?

So it's not sheets for Sherlock's naked body, then. Rats.

Um .... geez. It looks like sheets of ... something ... behind that transparent part. Technically not cloth.... not plastic ... not paper ... not liquid ... what the h*** else is there that comes in sheets?

Cellophane factory?

Glass factory?

Tinfoil?

Green glop before it's dyed green?

Oooh, good one.

It occurs to me, though, that those things that look like sheets of something could be part of the mechanism, not part of the end product. Not that that helps, either. :(

Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Sheet.. hmm.. I guess we can say that it could come in sheets too.

Clue.. hm.. I would say the product can be considered quite traditional.

I had thought about it being a machine that was part of the process for making what Americans call egg crate foam. That product does come in sheets kind of.

Could it be sheets of nylon?

Posted
Posted

Could be for sheets/large panes of glass?

Posted

Nope. Don't focus too much on sheet. It could come in sheet, but mostly not.

Posted

Is it for large clumps of clay?

Posted

Nope sorry, Sherlock has to be sheet-less.

Not clay also.

Acrylic or plexiglass come to mind with the slight reflection that occurs towards the bottom right of the machine.
